| You decide to go down the path to your right, the one that looks the most inviting. The grass crunches beneath your feet as you walk between tall, majestic trees. The farther you go, there is less grass beneath your feet, and you encounter more rocks in your path. A fog begins to roll in and with it come night. Step by step, the sun slowly fades into the distance and the moon takes dominance in the sky. Behind you the sky has a hue of yellow mixed purple, and in front of you, the sky is all purple. After walking for several minutes, the path ends and dumps you onto a small rock outcrop. Only a few feet off the ground, it still provides an excellent view of the whole valley that you have found yourself in. The fog has come in all the way, and it takes you a while to peer through the thick haze. Night has junped out of hiding, the stars illuminating the dark purple sky. The towering mountains seem to cradle the valley floor, giving the valley a feeling of home. At the far end of the valley, you can barely make out a lake and a waterfall. Trees surround the outskirts of the valley, adding shadows to the already strange night. "So, what do you think of this place?" Turning around you find Isis, once again appearing without warning. Seeing the look on your face, she begins to explain. "This valley is called the Realm of Eternal Night, aptly named, don't you think," she paused to smile sweetly to you before continuing. "This is where the dragon Kami resides. Kami has grown up into a beautiful dragon, and we are very proud of her! Kami now has a mate! Kami is very happy with Skysong. They will soon have a clutch and you may go down to the lake area and look at the new place where one of her babies will live. Also, you will meet Crystal and she may tell you how the two met! You may go further into the valley and Kami will take you on a guided tour of the valley. " With that Isis winks and fades away. You climb down the outcrop, luckily suffering no injuries. Farther down, the fog isn't as thick, and with the help of the moon and the stars, you are able to walk around without falling face first onto the ground. You hear some voices talking to the right of you, so you alter your course and go in the direction of the voices. Not long after, you stumble through some bushes and find two adult dragons, talking while playing with some stones on the ground. There is a green one and a purple one. You smile nervously, for they are both staring at you curiously. The green dragont hums "food" and licks his chomps. "No, silly," the purple dragon replies with fondness, "this is a human visitor. You don't eat humans." The green dragon looks a bit disappointed. The purple dragon looks to you and say "Welcome to my Valley. My name is Kami, and this is my mate Skysong." Skysong brightens and says "I better be going back to Deborah and Fae, it is almost time for dinner!" and with that Skysong walks away, Kami's goodbye still hanging in the air. Kami turns to you once again. "I shall show you around now if you would like." and with that Kami takes you on a tour. |
