My trek to Gunung (Mount) Trusmadi in Borneo in 1990 leads this section. It’s a trip down memory lane for me, and I hope that you happen to like nostalgia. I also climbed Mount Kinabalu, Malaysia’s highest mountain, on that “outing” and there’s a write-up on that too. There are also accounts of my trip up the summit of Doi Inthanon, the highest mountain in Thailand, and a visit to an elephant training centre in Chiangmai Province in September 1997.
