Darwin Tropics wins the All-Star Game over the FAANTBL All-Stars with a 50 to 47 victory. The Darwin Tropics came out strong with a 19 to 8 lead at the end of the first quarter. But the FAANTBL All-Stars slowly catching up closing the gap to 3 pts at the end of the third quarter with a 38 to 35 score line. But Darwin Tropics manage to hold out the All-Stars with a 50 to 47 win. Darwin Tropics' Patrick Palos took home All-Star Game MVP honors who led all scorers with 15 pts. Sportingbet Blue's Joseph Johnson won the Skills Challenge with a record time of 31 secs. And Uni Rebels' Leon Perdue won the 3-Point Shootout. Both winners took home a trophy and a $200 betting voucher from Sportingbet Australia. Darwin Tropics' Patrick Palos took home All-Star Game MVP honors who led all scorers with 15 pts. Patrick's clutch 3-pointer kept the Darwin Tropics in front during the last minutes of the game.

Setting the DBA Most 3-Pointers Made in a Season to 57, Darwin Basketball League Season 1 2009 3-Point Shooting Leader Leon Perdue won the Open 3-Point Shootout 2009 with a score of 14 pts in the Finals. Beating Eagles' Timmy Duggan's 12 pts and Chosen's Christiane Gonzales' 10 pts. Leon Perdue takes home the Open Skills Challenge 2009 Trophy and a $200 betting voucher from Sportingbet Australia.

Beating DTD Express Boxes' Dexter Tumanday's 34 sec and previous Skills Challenge winner Sportingbet Red's Patrick Palos' 37 sec. Joseph Johnson takes home the Open Skills Challenge 2009 Trophy and a $200 betting voucher from Sportingbet Australia.
