In the FAANTBL All-Star Game, the Red Team defeated the Blue Team by one point 39 to 40. The Red Team came out and led the game up to the 3rd quarter, but the Blue Team fought back in the 4th quarter and tied the game at 39 a piece with a 3-pointer from Patrick Palos. With 5 seconds left in the clock the Red Team called a time out to advance the ball to mid court. Justin Javier inbounded the ball at the halfway line to Adam De Ausen but Blue Team's Ariel Sanchez stole the ball off Adam and attacked the basket and was fouled during the lay-up with no time left on the clock and was awarded 2 shots. But the Blue Team players erupted in celebration and some off the players went on the court and referee Jason Ivinson called a technical foul on the Blue Team bench and awarded 2 free-throws to the red Team. Ariel Sanchez missed both free-throws and this opened the door for Justin Javier to take the win for the Red Team. He misses the first one but sinks the second one to win the game for the Read Team 39 to 40. Thank you to all the players and spectators who came out and supported the event and thank you to all the people who volunteered and helped out to make the event a huge success.
