After Vanness released his solo album, F4 is finally going to release their second combined album to go along with their Meteor Garden 2. Because of F4's busy scehdule, their album was forced to delay but now finally they are working on it. While recording for his Body Will Sing album, Vanness also recorded the F4 album song together and this increase the speed of releasing the album. However F4's music producer, Liu Tian Jian while flying to Hong Kong fall sick and everyone was worried about the album. Liu Tian Jian revealed that his health is alright now after a checkup. As for Jerry who was supposed to discuss the album with the producer knew that he was sick, he immediately went to visit the producer and told him that don't worry too much and don't give himself so much stress, wait till his health is alright then they will discuss the album further. Being the male lead for Meteor Garden 2, Jerry was unable to squeezed out times to do the recording and everything was to be settled by October. Still in promoting period, Vanness yesterday went into the studio for "Wo Cai Wo Cai Wo Cai Cai Cai"(guess guess guess) for the contest for his MTV female lead. Vanness was suppose to choose one girl among the 1000 contestants to act in his MTV [Yin Wei Tai Ai Ni] along with the other girls from Hong Kong, Indonesia, Singapore and Malaysia. Yesterday the Taiwan lead was finally chosen out. Who is this lucky girl? She is Zhang Yun Qiao, 21 years old. She will be shooting the MTV with Vanness today. During the contest, Vanness was to act with the girls but none of the girls dare to go near Vanness as whenever they go near him, the fans in the audience seats will start to shout. Vanness will be merging into Hollywood! Hollywood's famous manager, Bill Badalato eyed on Vanness because of his beautiful Asia style eyes and wanted him to act in a movie as an Emperor's youth. To let Vanness have his time to promote his album, Meteort Garden 2 let out some times for Vanness and working continuously can never tired the active Vanness but the assistants that are arranging Vanness's schedule! This week, Vanness will be heading for Hong Kong, China, Singapore, Indonesia and Malaysia for his promote tour and therefore Meteor Garden had to film the other F3's part first. Vanness's manager knowing that Vanness had always wanted to go to Hollywood to further his career and immediately let him know the news that he had went to Beijing to meet up with the famous manager of Hollywood and he had choose Vanness's photo out of many others. After knowing this, Vanness is very delighted and said, "I have always thought that my eyes are too small but now because of my eyes, I was being picked by Hollywood!" - Xing Bao[26/08/02]
1... 2... 3... 4... As the music started, Vanness began twisting his waist and our Teacher Wu is here, bringing the 10 selected girls to dance "Xun Zhao Zhu Li Ye". Xing Bao(Taiwan newspaper) and SonyMusic cooperate to let Vanness has a romantic dance day with the fans. After the news were spread out, over 300 applications were send in to participate. However in the end only 10 were selected. This will be the last chance for Vanness to meet his Taiwan fans before he go off for his promote tour. Yesterday afternoon, the fans were waiting eagerly to meet Vanness but they were also worried about dancing Vanness's song. In a minute of time, Vanness, wearing a jean with a white tops arrived and immediately the worried fans turned to delighted fans. Knowing that the fans were worried about the dance steps, Vanness revealed that he had choose the most easiest part to dance and therefore hope that the fans will feel relieve and dance out their feel. Though Vanness injured himself during rehersal of the MV but once he began dancing, he did not feel any pain. Vanness slowly break the dance steps and teach the fans. After much teaching, the fans were getting on with the tempo and dance steps. During the practise, Vanness did not feel at all annoying having to dance repeatedly for the fans and even jokingly copied Xiao S for her Teacher Xu's method, shouting "I am Teacher Wu, Follow Me!" This make all the tense up fans to be more relieve and relax. Vanness even teach the fans one by one so as to see the results after 60mins of teaching. Within this 60mins of teaching, Vanness had dance over 30 times the same steps of Xu Zhao Zhu Li Ye. But you will never see him in pain even though he was injured. To promote his album, Vanness will be leaving for other countries and before he set off, Vanness's mum even called to ask him to be careful. Vanness went to Hong Kong for promotion of Body Will Sing Album. In the morning, he actually go for a helicopter tour and at night he went for a big feast of seafood. This time SonyMusic had insuranced Vanness 200 American dollars to prevent any unwanted accident. Flying in the helicopter, Vanness kept shouting "Cool! Very good!" The shooting of Meteor Garden 2 in Spain should be very romantic but both Da S & Jerry were scared to shoot the kissing scene. Da S revealed that when she was shooting the kissing scene, she was very afraid that her boyfriend Lan Zhen Long will be angry and if needed, she will have to kneel down to apologise. Under this stress, during filming she kept on NG and Jerry must be very unhappy about this. But Jerry just feel preesurise and worried since Da S has boyfriend already, he was worried to go near her. Da S continued that whenever she shoot kissing scene, she has to report to Lan Zhen Long so that he won't be angry. When shooting Meteor Garden, usually Da S will faint at the shooting place but now with the taste of love, she is very energetic and in Spain, while Michelle and Jerry are facing problems adapting to the environment, Da S is normal and can eat and sleep well. Nowadays Jerry picked up basketball and went to practise with Jay Chou and Liu Gen Hong(the guy who act as San Bu in Poor Prince) very often and whenever they appeared, they will roused a chaos there. During filming in Spain, Jerry always eat fruits and nowadays he was preparing for his first solo album and even have act in a movie and but in embarrasment, he revealed that he has not watch his own movie. - [03/09/02]
China reporters reported F4's price is too high and therefore could not go to the "Golden Hawk Awards". According to their reports, F4's manager had asked for a price of 6 millions and since it seemed unprofitable for the authority and therefore have to cancel this idea of inviting them. However F4's manager Jiang Yi Peng revealed that the authority did invite F4 to the award ceremony but since F4 was too busy with their filming, they could not attend and he has never name any price before. For Vanness who right now is in Indonesia for his promote tour said, "They are mad! We have never name any price!" Jiang Yi Peng continued that F4 was right now busy with their filming and lately they all sign a contract of having a world tour concert in November and in the contract it said that before the concert, F4 could not attend any show. He continued that since F4 can't make it, he won't name any price and even if they can make it, he won't name such a high price also. It was spread that for 5 months of filming, they have only completed 12 episodes and that is very slow. The reasons are F4 is too busy and Da S don't want to film. Cai Jie revealed that it was their fault because Da S's contract is until September and she knew that Da S is an understanding person and Cai Jie hope that she can understand their situation. Right now, Cai Jie is talking about Meteor Garden 2 previewing rights in Asia. Cai Jie continued to apologise for their delaying in filming since in the middle, there's a change in director and she had already waste around 10 millions and therefore she won't ask F4 to stop filming to avoid more money wasted. Huang Zi Jiao totally showed his acting skill by acting F4's Jerry, Ken & Vic in his new program. Vanness is the guest of the show and he could not stop laughing seeing Jiao Jiao like that. Jiao Jiao actually copy Jerry for his coolness and "black face" but Vanness revealed that actually Jerry is the "kai xin guo"(happy fruit) among the 4. Jiao Jiao also copy Vic for his poor pronouciation and eve wore a wig to act as Ken. Vanness revealed that Jiao Jiao is good in acting Vic and Vanness also continued to say that actually Ken is a very good man who know how to cook and also good in playing guitar, among the 4, he attracts more girls. Many people will tend to suspect F4's talent and thought that they are just "idol". However Vanness who is crowned as the best dancer is not scared at all. After Vanness released his solo album, Body Will Sing, many people are impressed for his dance and his singing. When asked whether he is scared other people will see them as "idol" with no talent, Vanness confidently replied he is not scared and even said, "let's see..." As the album was released, many people in shock comments that, "Never expect you to sing and dance so well." Vanness felt that as people see his hardwork, he was even happier. Vanness put in lots of hard work for this album. He make himself responsible for all the raps regardless of chinese or english and as his mandrain is not good, it took him lots of work just to do the chinese rap part. After he wrote the lyrics in roman, he will ask his friend to teach him how to write the chinese letter one by one. In the song "Sick", he wrote out Si Shi Si Gong Jin, Yi Wu Jiu Gong Fen(44kg and 159cm) but he claimed that this is not his ideal partner'x criteria. He got this Taiwan girls measurements from a friend. Vanness himself claimed that he des not like girls that are too skinny and like someone who is slightly plump. Vanness used to be the most amount of rumours among all F4 but now he is the least rumours. He revealed that Taiwan is different from America, even going out with a girl to watch a movie, people will misunderstand and so now he always go for movie himself. Vanness's album sells very well in other countries! Though Indonesia is not a chinese country but it actually sells over 40 thousands albums. Just in Hong Kong, his album already sell over 10 thousands though the country is very small. After the promote tour, Vanness is now back in Taiwan. Lately many fans started sending him mooncakes to Sony Music just to have a look at Vanness. Seeing the over whelming result of Vanness and fans' urge to see him, Sony Music decided to hold a celebration party for Vanness's good result at Xi Men 101 this weekend.
