The following is an outline of the Internet's growth: how a small network of computers grew into a global communication and information fixture.

1964 A New Connection is Designed – To avoid a connectivity problem, the RAND Corporation invented a new kind of network with no central authority allowing each computer to send and receive messages. If one computer was destroyed, the others could still communicate. Organized ‘like a fishnet’, communications find their own path, even if a portion had been destroyed. All the messages would be sent in
packets, each with its own address.

1969 The Internet is Born - The Internet began under a contract led by the Advanced Research Projects Agency (ARPA), which connected four major computers at universities in the southwestern United States. This network was called the ARFRAMET.

1970’s through 1980’s The Internet Expands - Many other laboratories, universities, and government
departments joined the Internet. Throughout the years many other places and people continued to connect to the Internet. However, it is important to realize that the early Internet was not easy to use. Only computer experts, engineers, and scientists could use this complex system. During this time, the Internet was gradually extending its communication network. Network systems such as Ethernet, TCP/IP, Unix, UseNet, BITNET, and NSFNet were allowing people to send e-mail, join mail groups, and perform research using the Internet. Although more people were able to use the Internet, it still required quite a bit of technical knowledge.
As well, countries around the world were developing their own ARFRAMET systems. Using Internet technology countries were able to connect to one another. In addition, technology was developing rapidly: phone lines, cable and satellite systems were being tested to try to connect more networks together.

“Life has many aspects and we should know how to balance our living.”

These words were from an executive young lady, named Ms. Pattarin Sorsottikul, with a position of the project manager of Secon Square Development Company Limited.

She began to balance her living by relaxing in her family’s private resort at Hua Hin. It is a big town house of the Pool & Garden Home Project, in the welcome shades of big trees and a large pool long from the gate to the last house of the project as like as a large stream passing every house. Cool winds blow all the time even in such really hot days of Hua Hin. The welcome shades and cool winds differentiate these resorts from others.

The Pool & Garden Home Project is in the Takeab Hill neighbourhood with functional areas of 4 big bedrooms and a comfortable airy hall at downstair with cool air. The decoration of Khun Paeng’s resort focuses on white colour. It is generally plain and white. The white colour, the tender touch of cotton curtains with lace ornamental fringes and rthe warm modernity are main factors of this resort owned by this young lady who needs to balance her life - - professionally and individually - - here on calm relaxing days.

Tragic Melody

Once upon a time, there was a poor young man, Jean, lived with his ill mother in an old small hut in a forest. Jean was kind, gentle, sympathetic and optimistic, the result of which was that all in the forest loved him. Once, he helped a seriously injured monkey and they become indeed friends.

One day, his mother's illness became worse. He was exceedingly worried because he didn't know how to cure or to relieve her pain. The monkey told him that there was a magic medicine in a big cave by the sea, and it was kept well by a fiendish dragon. Everyone who had tried to take out the medicine couldn't keep his life from it. However it couldn't bear listening a tragic music. Consequently, Jean modestly borrowed the marvellous clarinet from the Lion King.

Love friends, Jean and the monkey, traveled for a week to the cave to ask for the medicine from the dragon. But he was refused and the dragon threw its fire to them and roared to make them fear. He began playing the clarinet tragically. The song expressed his poor family. It was too sad for the dragon to keep on listening. Finally, it gave him the medicine and lots of gold.

Jean was absolutely happy. His mother became healthy due to the medicine. All in the forest helped him to build a nice and comfortable house by the river.
