December 25, 2003 The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King Movie Visit lordoftherings.net To start off, this was an excellent movie. I won't go too far into anything so nothing gets ruined. Well, my dad and I were bored on Christmas Day so we decided to go see this movie, which was highly anticipated by both of us. Not too long of a line. We got in and sat on our asses for 3 1/2 hours, bitch. If you thought the battle in The Two Towers was great, you ain't seen shit motherfucker. The ending was so long. Smeagol!!!!!!!! Ah, that was a great part. I remember a few months ago my brother was doing a book report. His assignment was to write a plot summary of a book over two hundred pages long. That fucking dumbshit decides to do it on The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring. Not that it's a bad book, but he decides that since he's watched the film, he won't have to read the book and he can summarize the movie. No. I know for a fact he won't sit there on the couch for three hours to watch a movie that he has no interest in, unlike me. (I on the other hand just spent most of the last few days on a couch playing Knights of the Old Republic.) Plus, the film is different from the book. Well, he thinks he can use my help being the nerd that I am. Does he think I owe him? Well, anyways I agreed to help a bit. My mom helps him too. So, for about an hour I'm reading some of the major parts of the book. He came into my room with his "plot summary." I read it, and I said, "What the fuck is this? If you're teacher read the book you'll definitely get an F." He cried. While I read, he had made some bullshit summary while looking at the website. The plot summary: Frodo inherits a ring from Bilbo, his cousin. Gandalf visits the Hobbits for Bilbo's birthday. Frodo learns of his quest and sets out with Sam, Merry, and Pippin. The Witch Kings go to stop Frodo and his friends. The Hobbits meet Strider, who protects them. Before Gandalf met them, he was betrayed by Sauron. When the venture through places they get to the land of the Elves. There, the Fellowship of the Ring is formed. Then, they journeyed through the Earth to go melt the ring. In the caves they met Shelob. At the end, there is a battle, and Faramir died. OK. I didn't see anything wrong here, did you? Anyways, enough with this review. I give "The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King" a 10/10. I need not give you any reasons why. Have a nice day. | ||
