The Siberian Tiger
Panthera tigris altaica
The siberian tiger is found mostly in the wooded areas of Russia and a few parts of Northeast China and  northern North Korea.

We have 490 siberians captive today, started from the original 83 wild cats caught.

The siberian tiger is the largest of all subspecies with the males weighing in at 660 pounds, and the females about 370 pounds.
