Chapter One: Prologue
Divinus Caelestis Headquarters
Four in the Afternoon
"Buffy Summers, here is your target, you are to search for and destroy the leader. The security is very strong but I'm sure you will be able to infiltrate the unit," commanded Rupert "Ripper" Giles, a stern yet caring British man that knows how to get things done.
"Okay Giles, do I have a unit?" asked Buffy smiling at the older man.
"Yes you do, you are in charge of the Scooby Gang," Giles smiled in return and Buffy turned to leave, "Oh and Buffy, tell you mum I'll be home at midnight."
"Sure thing, dad," Buffy opened the door and left.

Buffy skipped into the room holding the gang. The Scooby Gang are: WIllow Rosenburg, Oz Osborne, Xander Harris, Buffy Summers, and Faith McCoy. Willow, Oz, Buffy, and Xander have been buds since high school and were recruited into the Divinus Caelestis when they first started college the year before, Faith McCoy was added to the group when she was pulled out of prison, they each had they own craft and specialty.

Buffy glaned around the room seeing that they were missing one, "Where's Faith?"
"She's out on a recruit scouting," Xander said lazily.
Buffy smiled at her fellow Scoobies, the nick-name came from high school, where the four of them wre notorious for their ability to solve unsolvable crimes that the incompetent Sunnydale police force could not.
"Well, I've been activated and I have to take a crew with me and Giles, surprise, surprise is making me take your worthless asses. I don't know why?" Buffy joked as the rest of the gang threw pillows at her. She sat on the couch across from the rest of them and started the description of the mission in a serious type of way causing the others to snap together in serious form.

"Liam 'Angelus' Broder is the leader of a notorious drug-crime ring. He's in control of fifty percent of the world's cocaine and heroin population. He is also in charge of the English-Irish mafia. He has recently killed two ambassadors and several business owners that wouldn't join him in his tyrannies. He is ruthless and he is hard to get to.
He doesn't trust anyone but his brother, sister and wife. Bodyguards always surround him and his entire line is know for their ruthlessness.
Brother, we only know that his name is Spike, he is a highly skilled assassin, he was given the name Spike because he is known to kill people with railroad spikes; he's considered dangerous. His appearance is unknown, he is always in disguiese and his true face has never been seen. Sister is Drusilla Broder; she is insane also very dangerous. She is known for her hypnotic ways. She is tall, pale, with black flowing har and she is usually seen carrying a doll named Mrs. Edith. Wife is Darla Broder is said to be a cold heartless soulless woman. She is known for taking prisoners, she is known for torturing her victims. We do not know whatshe looks like, the agents that have seen her have not been able to come back in a reliable state to discribe her.
Liam 'Angelus' Broder is known of possessing the face of angel. He is a manipulative, he easily leads people to believe that he is innocent. Do not be fooled people, he is nowhere near innocent, he has killed hundreds of people and tortured thousands of others. He is largely built, like a football player, with brown hair and large brown eyes.
Operative leader, Buffy Summers is to infiltrate the Angelus crime ring in anyway possible. The second in command is McCoy, when Summes has successfully entered the circle, Rosenburg and Harris are in charge of the distribution of equipment. Rosenburg handles the electronics, Harris handles the distribution of weapons, Osborne is to be the contact on the outside. Going undercover as a local band member, arrangements have alrady been made.
Once Summers is in place, she will work her way into the trust of Angelus, then take him out, quickly and quietly."

Once the report was finished the gang stood and stretched, "Thank god, I dunno if I could've come up with anymore fantasies to block out her droning," Xander complained jokingly as he stood up scratching his side with a half grin on his face.
Slapping him in the shoulder Buffy reprimanded, "Shut-up and take it back, or I'll... I'll come up with something entirely awful later, right now I want to go dancing."
Giggling Willow spoke up as Xander rubbed his shoulder, "I'm guessing we're Bronzing it?" The Bronze was the local teen hangout. Technically they weren't teens anymore, yet they weren't really adults either, they were only twenty.

Angelus Headquarters
Same time, Four in the afternoon
"Spike, come here," commanded the dark headed man standing in the mist of the large room that had twenty people milling about.
"What do you want Peaches," came the grumbled reply from the shockingly bonde haired man as he staked forward.
I have a job for you," stated Angelus simply.
Crossing his arms, Spike smirked, "What type of job would that be?"
"The Slayer is hunting me and mine, I need you to take her out. Swiftly and quietly, can you do that?" Angelus sneered.
Snorting the blonde man remarked, "Of course I can. I've taken out other harder subjects than that. Point me toward the chit." Angelus filled in the younger Broder and sent him on his way.
