HISTORY : She attended Forest Lake (Minnesota) High School, where she was a two-time captain of the high school's gymnastics team. At age 14, she joined the American Drug-Free Power lifting Association. Her best event is bench-pressing 160 lbs and Mona's dad was also a former power lifting champion in Minnesota. Mona's hobbies include bowling, going out and enjoying the beach, and in-line skating. Mona's current car is a 1965 blue Oldsmobile Delta 88, which has more than 400,000 miles on it! This is no accident, however, because Mona has a love for old cars and is a frequent visitor at local Minnesota old car shows and auctions.

She changed her name to Starla Saxton in the independents and in her only match in the WWF she lost a hard fought match with Jackie. She was introduced to WCW as Miss Madness (as part of the Macho Mans Team Madness) where along with Madusa & Gorgeous George she helped watch Randy's back. Due to a mix up between her and Madusa during one of Randy's matches she (along with Madusa) was fired from Team Madness. She promptly went into singles competition and had nice matches with both Lil Jeanie (aka. Sweet Destiny) and Brandi Alexander. Rumors abound in September of 1999 about a WCW house clearing with both Madusa and Mona being released from their contracts - more on this as we find out. Luckily rumors of their demise were greatly exaggerated. In October 99 with the addition of Vince Russo to the writing team Madusa & Mona came back strong. Mona challenged Madusa to an evening gown match and when she won Madusa took an immediate heel turn. This looks like it could have been a great feud. Mona disappeared for a little after the feud seemed to begin. From what we hear she plays a major role backstage training Spice of the Nitro Girls in her feud with Tygress. Look for Mona to be kicking ass herself again soon, the question is where ?
Mona returned for a tag match with JJ against Madusa & Evan. In 1999, Mona was voted the # 1 female wrestler in any federation and she also is still the holder of the WCWF Women's Title (as Starla Saxton). In August 2000, Mona was released by WCW, as soon as she was released WWF swooped in and picked her up. (Another WCW screwup). Its likely that she will enter a feud with Lita for the Women's World Title. It is rumored that Mona will enter the WWF as a part of the RTC. In October 2000 its been announced that Mona was joining Bobcat in MCW to train a little before she appear on TV. Thanks to the one and only Mona Maniac, Nickey at Mona Madness for all her help
