Logistics & Safety

Activities

Does taking a group of young people to a foreign country intimidate you? Let us ease your burden. We take care of all of the logistics, beginning with your arrival to the Dominican Republic and ending when you check in for your return flight. All of the details in between are included in your trip price. You as a trip leader can focus completely on caring for your students. While no trip is free of danger, the Dominican Republic is a very safe country.  Just in case there are any bumps or bruises, our guides all have training in wilderness first aid.

Standard Trips
We have two standard trip types available for high school students in 2002. Our Mountain Trip is comprised of a day of service, four days of backpacking, and a day of either rock climbing or rappelling. The Dominican Adventure Tour includes an overnight backpacking trip, an afternoon of mountain biking, a day of canyoneering, three days at an isolated beach backed by 200 foot tall cliffs, and an evening in the historic colonial zone of Santo Domingo. We can also do custom trips.
