My Interests

I have always been an individual who has varied interests.

As a result, depending on the time of year, or sometimes time of day,

I can be engaged in all sorts of activities.

Books

I cherish any well written material. Books that I like, I read over and over. Some may chastise me for this, but one of my favorite books is a short western narrative called Shane by Jack Schaefer. This novel relates the story of a gun fighter who tries to put his gun slinging days behind him. The book was eventually adapted to a movie with the same title starring Alan Ladd.

Included among my favorites are:

Macbeth and the Merchant of Venice by Shakespeare.

However, more recent selections are

Who Moved My Cheese by Spence Johnson.

Leadership 101 by John C. Maxwell.

QBQ! The Question Behind The Question by John G. Miller.

Straight From the Gut by Jack Welch.

I watch movies from almost any genre; romance, comedy, action adventure, drama, musical, thriller, science fiction or western. Below are just a few of my favorites.
