KODAK PACIFIC BOWL
The Kodak Pacific Bowl featured covered seating for 3000 spectators with an additional 1500 to 2000 people that could view the shows from a grassy hillside. This venue was designed for large scale events that required an outdoor space. One of the most notable attractions was the Kaifeng Motorcycle Team which performed daredevil type stunts.
The Bowl itself was built
primarily to showcase the RCMP Musical Ride. This time honoured Canadian
tradition unites rider and horse in a series of difficult choreographed
manoeuvres set to music. Performances could be seen twice daily (except
Mondays) and for those people that wished to get their picture taken with
a Mountie, there were ample opportunities at the barracks and stables next
door.
