Export Consultant Service began in 1965 primarily to serve international customers in the steel industry. At that time steel mills were engineered and constructed by United States' companies. When international customers needed spare parts or consumables, the U.S. construction companies would sell the materials but at a significant mark-up. We contacted these steel mills and advised them we could supply the same parts at reduced prices.

Beginning in the 1970's we started to work with the petroleum industries in many countries. We extended our business to the aluminum, chemical and other industries, research centers and universities.

Our customers were looking for a United States company to sell them products from more than one manufacturer and consolidate them into one shipment. They would have several small orders that we'd combine into one purchase order. Doing this saved our customers in three important ways:

1. we saved them time trying to locate many suppliers

2. we saved them considerable paperwork by issuing one purchase order

3. we saved on freight charges.

Our customers inquiries and correspondence are answered prompty by e-mail or fax. These are indeed exciting times for us as we continue to expand our services and continue to meet the needs of our international customers.
