This is a view looking into the vent room from above at one of the massive exhaust fans inside. This is one of two, located above what was the eastbound lane of the tunnel. This photo doesn't really do justice for the size of this fan. It is nearly as large as a Chevy Blazer. As you can see, the metal is starting to rot, but all in all, I think the fans are in great condition for their age and obvious lack of use.
