What Explorers means to me.

To me being an explorer is one of the best things I chose to do in a long time.  Its a chance for me to get out of my house and see for myself what law enforcement agencies really do both on the streets and in the office.  Its about being part of a team, a team thats helping communities become a better place to live.  Being an explorer has helped me in so many ways my leadership skills, decision making skills, and time management skills.  I encourage anyone who reads this to consider becoming an explorer.  Its one of the best choices you will ever make.

To me being an explorer is the best choice i have ever made.
The reason being is because i can finally see what the Law Enforcement agencies really do compared to what people on the streets say.
It is also about being a part of a team. Though this team may not play sports, we all have the same objectives.
Those objectives may include, building teamwork, help the community, learning about law enforcement, making better decisions, time management skills,
and learning how to become a better leader and citizens...etc. We also help each other with school work when ever one of the explorers asks for help.
I would highly encourage every one who read this to join the explorers, you will make allot of very good friends.

The explorers means an advantage and more learning experience for later on in the future.  I think it would help out a lot when I go into law enforcement.

Being an Explorer is stepping out of my safety zone.  Being homeschooled I dont get out of the house much, and Exploring has given me the chance.  I have a chance to do something that means something.  I can do something to help someone.  Its probably the hardest thing I have ever done.  Going through the Basic Training Academy was hard, I had never known that kind of determination or learning to give that kind of respect.  Through Explorers I have learned to be determined at what I want and need to do, to respect my elders and peers alike, to be honest, to have courage and honor.  To have the chance to see what Law Enforcement officials do everyday as their day-job is just amazing.  I cant think of anything better to do with my time.
