Law Enforcement Exploring is for teens between the ages of 14 and 21.  The program is designed to teach teens the values of discipline, respect, and honor, along with learning about Law Enforcement.

Each Cadet spends two to three hours in class, once a week for 16-18 weeks.  This class is taught by the Deputy's who give their time to the program and the class is known as Basic Training Academy.  During this  Academy the Cadets learn about Ethics, Handcuffing, Defensive Tactics, Crime Scene's, and more.  The Cadets are put through Physical Training to get them in shape.  At the end of the Academy each Cadet takes a test that they must pass before going on to the Advanced Training.

In Advanced Training, the Graduated Cadets learn more in depth about Crime Scene's, Negotiating, Traffic Stop's, Felony Traffic Stop's and more.
At this point, each Cadet may go on Ride-alongs with the Deputy's and spend time helping  out in the office.  Some of the Cadets may want to try and get a rank (sergeant, lieutenant, staff sergeant... etc.)

Each Cadet is rewarded for their efforts by achieving ribbons.  Requirements for ribbons includes the hours for Basic Training, Community service, Perfect attendance... etc.

Part of our community service includes Ride-Alongs, helping with Community Events, helping the Cops for Kids program, and much more.

A little something that the Deputy's tell us to keep us going.  "Anything worth having is hard."

Please remember not to drink and drive.  When you drink and drive you do not know what you are doing.  When you do something that irresponsible you are putting others lives in danger.  The sad reality of this is that someone who woke up this morning wont be around next weekend because they were made victims of drunk driving.
