Darlene & Steve early in the morning after he first saw his sign...he loved it!
Steve Saunders was the travelling host for the Pyramid mall sweeps. I first met him at the mall sweep in McLean VA in early October. Every time he would say Donny's name the crowd would go wild. He joked, "Wow, I wish people would go nuts like that when they say my name!" Remembering that, Angie & I came up with this sign for him. It was on the other side of my "Will Work For A Donny Hug" sign. I had a moment of panic when Donny was reading the hug sign & then flipped it over & began reading Steve's side...Donny thought it was for himself until he got to the bottom & saw it was for Steve. Donny got a big kick out of it & laughed & told Steve he thought it was great!
Steve was very sweet to all of us & worked for hours - he made the day seem like a party! |
