Existence originated in 2001 in Bangkok (Thailand), with a bunch of bored highschool freshman kids wanting to play some music and bringing our their crappy talent. Crux, a popular local band, aided the unexperienced guys and helped them overcome the basic obstacles. Existence has always been a contraversial band. Since the making of the band in 2001, there are have been constant "on" and "off" preformances. In total, 12 members have been in the band at different times. The original Existence started off with only four members: Numan, Erich, Ball, and Nor. People came and people went and Existence was never at a constant goal. Two bass players have been replaced, over four guitarists have changed, and three drummers have played in just two years. It wasn't until the beggining of 2002, did the band found their true members. KD, as the vocalist and guitarist, Numan, as also the vocalist/guitarist, Vikrant as the bassist, and Pep as the drummer. In two consecutive years, Existence preformed in the anual RIS Talent Show and that's when they got their big break and started making their own music and their own songs. Shortly after, Pep, the most experienced of the band, moved to Malaysia (why the heck did he!), leaving Existence without a drummer for some time. After 5 months, Sid, older brother of Vikrant, took the drumming spot only to lose the drummer again 8 months later.

From the start of the Junior year, Existence once again found themselves with new members, and this time until the end. Newbie drummer Ekkasit, experienced drummer Jimmy, and helpful Eddy joined in. All of the members became true friends and did crazy things together. They were here to stay. Existence reached their highest point, winning the 2004 HS Talent Show. Despite all the rough times the band had to accomplish, they are still alive. Nevertheless, Existence has, in time, morphed into a mature band made up of young music lovers with influences from alternative/hard and emo rock culture.
