Blink lived in the war torn universe known as 'The age of Apocalypse'. It was a world where Charles Xavier was murdered before he created the X-men. In honour of his friend, Magneto gathered a group of mutants and fought against Apocalypse. Blink was brought into the group by Sabertooth, who saved her from the pens, where mutants were experimented on, when she was a child and saw him as a sort of father figure. She was plucked from her world seconds before it was wiped from existance.
