ExcaliburCNG was born out of the vision of company President & CEO Don Flordeliza, Jr. (left photo) last October 2005 of setting up a company that will introduce to the Philippine retail market compressed natural gas  (CNG) as a viable alternative fuel to be used in the transport sector and extend the direct economic benefits of doing so to the riding public. After inviting close friends and associates, it was registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) in January 2006 with five incorporators.

It positions itself strategically to take the lead in CNG distribution in the country and delivering the benefits of using low emission fuels to the Filipino people, the Philippine economy and the global environment.

ExcaliburCNG shall likewise play a vanguard role in advocating for the adoption of CNG fueled vehicles (right photo) in the public transport sector, and the formation of a multi-sector partnership to pursue the attainment of such and slowly broaden its coverage.

Considering the archipelagic nature of our country, and the fact that we are situated in the Pacific "Rim of Fire", we are exploring alternative systems in the bulk hauling, storage and distribution of CNG aside from the laying of pipe lines. We are looking for global partners in the environment, hauling and transport, as well as CNG retail distribution industries, who are interested in the vast potential of CNG distribution business in the Philippines.

In pursuing its goals, ExcaliburCNG shall work in partnership with the government agencies concerned, consult with global experts in the field, and network with other leaders of business and industry.

OUR GOALS:

We are introducing CNG as a viable solution to the various problems that plague the Philippine public transport sector. Our immediate goal is to develop the capability to deliver the following services:

  • bulk hauling and storage of compressed natural gas or CNG;

  • acquisition and operation of bulk CNG tanks, hauling trucks and barges;

  • establishment of retail distribution system and facilities, initially in key areas;

  • importation and sales of CNG compatible vehicles; (various demo units of CNG vehicles are  shown in photo above)

  • importation and/or fabrication of CNG conversion kits and conversion of existing vehicles to CNG usage.

    • this include conversion of other government vehicles to CNG usage;

    • conversion of public transport vehicles: buses, taxis and jeepneys to CNG usage.

We support the Philippine government's Natural Gas Vehicle Program and initiate the formation of a multi-sector partnership for a natural gas powered public transport.

Our mid-term goals include the following:

  • local manufacture or fabrication of CNG conversion kits;

  • expanding our distribution network and replicating our system in strategic areas nationwide;

  • conversion of ships into bi-fuel or CNG dedicated fuel supply;

  • conversion of power generating plants to bi-fuel or CNG dedicated fuel supply;

  • to participate in the bid to construct a power plant for the Metro Railways systems using CNG fuel.

Our long-term goals include the following:

  • the building of a CNG refinery plant in another strategic location in the country;

  • introduction of CNG for industrial and household usage;

  • exploration of other natural gas deposits in the Visayas.

Interested parties may contact us. We look forward to have you as our partner/s in moving the fuel of Philippine progress.
