Setting up a new Zone name
|
1) Double click on the "Zone" icon, located
near the bottom right on your screen. Or
if this is your first time go to this URL:
http://wwww.zone.com click
on "Sign up for new Zone name" in the
upper right cornner and skip to step
4.
2) What this does it bring up your "Zone
Friends" windows, go to file and then
click on "log on as"
3) You will see a window where you log on
and by the right, bottom cornner of that
window is a button that says "New Zone
Name"..click that sucker.
4) This bring up yet another window in which
it asks you to download the necessary
files, click on the words, whether or not
you've already downloaded the files.
5) After that the screen will ask you if you
see a spade, if ya' do then click on "Yes
I see the spade" if you don't see the
spade then try waiting for a-while and if
nothing comes up still, then exit that
window and repeat steps 1-5.
6) If you do see the spade pat yourself on
the back and giver yourself a cookie, now
all you have to do is make up a new clan
name and put in your e-mail.
7) When making up a new clan name remember
to have the "ewok_" in front of your
name, for example: ewok_FuzzyNuts.
-Also have the ewok in front of you
name in all lower case, unless
one of the council members has
promoted you to a different class.
8) After you got your brand spanking new
ewok name, click on the "next" button and
press on "log on and take me to the
games".

Signing up to BattleStats.Com (BSC)
|
1) By signing up for BSC you will be able to
play in Squadron/Clan wars. BSC
basically keeps the scores of your games
and calculates them to figure out your
Kill/Death rate, total points, number of
games played..etc.
2) Ok, take a break and stretch your fingers
and get me something to drink...
^_^
3) Go to:
http://www.battlestats.com/players/add/
read all that legal mumbo-jumbo if ya'
want and scroll all the way to the bottom
and click on "I agree".
4) This will take you to a page in which you
type in all the necessary stuff (remember
when typing your callsign in don't put
the clan name, just your callsign), when
your done filling that all out click
on "Submit New Registration".
5) Near the bottom of the screen you'll see
a box which ask if you would like to join
a clan/squad. in the "ID" box you can
put in our clan's id number, 896 or you
can type in our clan initials in
the "Clan's initials box" which is
EWOK.
6) After that you'll see a screen which asks
for a confirmation code, check your e-
mail, in your e-mail you should see a
BattleStats Player Reg. mail and in there
is your confirm code. Cut and paste and
put that sucker in the box and
hit "confirm code".
7) Now stick your butt in there air and do
the forbideen ewok dance. Shake fuzzy
butt, wage furry tail, jump on the
nearest leader's head and give out your
best battle cry. Congratulations!!

Changing you name to a lower or capital case
|
1) Go here http://www.zone.com/xwingvtiefighte/ and look at that orangy yellowish nav bar which goes across the top of your screen.
2) Look for something that says "Services" and click on it.
3) This will take you to a screen which says "Member Service Area", look toward the left of that screen and look under "General Services :View/Change Signup Data" and hit that link, hard *evil grin*.
4) And bang, what do ya' know, type in your zone user name and password, which ever you want to change and press "Continue".
5) In the next screen you can change your name to lower or capital cases, your password, or e-mail. But note that when you change your name it can't have any new letters or underscores, you can only change it from lower to capital and vise versa.
6) After your all set, click "Continue" and prepare to sniff PatcheZ butt (minty fresh)
