History, and things that make you say "Huum"
As I have said a few times on these pages, there are about seven months (February - August) when I have little or nothing to do. Instead of sitting at my computer going mad, I created this site, and have read a lot of American and World History. I look back now at High School and realize that either I did not pay attention or that the history that was presented to us was 'edited' in some way.

Did I learn anything from school, probably. Do I remember anything, not much.
My loss totally.

With that in mind I started to read history an the web. The idea came up when I voted in Time Magazines poll "80 days that changed the world". It's results were made avaiable in a recent issue.
I wrote down names, dates, places that interested me or that I did actually remember from school.
So I have chosen to add links to those pages that I read.
I will add pages as I read more.
