The main objectives of the association is to establish and maintain a community of people of Ewe ethnic background, who are eager to advance the cultural heritage of the Ewes in North America. It hopes to organize social and educational activities as well as other community enhancing activities. The association hopes to co-operate with other organizations with similar objectives and help foster friendly relations with all residents in and out of Columbus. |

The Columbus Ewe Haborbor was formed on August 27, 2002 by a group of friends, who come from the Volta Region of Ghana, Togo, Benin and are currently residing in Columbus, Ohio. The Columbus Ewe Haborbor (COEHAB) is a vibrant and culturally inspired association. It is a non-profit and a non-political association. |
