..::About EWA and NEW::..

Rules

1: {Fighting} NEW will not tolerate any public OOC fighting, this is an efed based on the essance of fun, but we'd still like to keep a professional attitude towards everything. Everything here is fake nothing is real, meaning that it's just a game so don't take offence to losses and don't be a poor loser, or a poor winner. The first offence will just be a warning, but the second time we see the same activity from a wrestlig will result in an immediate termination, and all titles will be stripped due to violation of contract.

2: {Roleplays} There is a two roleplay limit every week, this includes Pay Per Views. In the interest of fairness we try to keep the total amount of roleplays down, that way everybody has the same oppertunity to match their opponants roleplay total. Do not set your roleplays during a show, the show hasn't even happened yet so how can your wrestler be in the ring talking towards the fans. You can however do a roleplay that shows your wrestler arriving at the arena before a show, in their locker room, and even walking the arena while the NEW Crew is still assembling the ring, these are all fine roleplaying methods. However, you can submit a promo/interview for the show, see rule 3 for more info. All roleplays are due by Midnight United States Central Time on Friday.

3: {On-Card Promos/Interviews} You may send a Promo/Interview to be put on the card. The promo basically counts as another roleplay. When you write a promo you must do all the html coding to match our layout for the event before you send it to us. The NEW Staff reserves the right to change your promo, in spelling or in clarification. For an interview you must follow the guidlines set down in the interviewer's bio on the staff page. Meaning you must keep the person interviewing your wrestler in character just like you would your own wrestler, violating this will not be strictly punished but may result in your promo or interview being discarded. Furthermore NEW holds the right to discard any promo for any reason, however there will be occasions where the show is just too big and we can't fit all the promos into the show, in this case you will still recieve credit for submitting a promo, but it just won't be in the results. There is a limit of one oncard per week however you may send in a correction to your strat anytime before the deadline. All oncards are due by Noon United States Central Time on Saturday along with Strats {See rule Four}.

4: {Strats} Strats are your strategy for the event in question. Lets say normally your wrestler is a brawler, but this week your wrestler's opponant is a high flyer so you want to keep him down on the mat using holds, submissions, or mounted attacks, then send us a Strat telling us how you want to act this week. If your wrestler is normally cocky and arrogent but something happened this week to make him sad and sulky, send us and tell us how you want him to act. Strats deal with every aspect of your wrestler and their personallity. Strats will also count towards your total score for this week, and like Oncards are due on Noon Saturday and there is only one per week. Also, like oncards Strats can be changed anytime before the deadline. Finally NEW holds to right to not put a strat into effect if we think it's not realistic to your or your opponants wrestler.

5: {Match Judging} Matches are judged as follows. 60% of the score is based on roleplays, the higher quality of the roleplay the higher the score. 20% of the score is based on current angles, if the score is really close then the person with the push or title will win the match, sorry but it just keeps things fair to the storylines this way, matches however will never be solely based on storylines unless both parties agree. 10% of the score will be based on total effort, meaning if you submit two roleplays, an oncard, and a strat you'll probably get full credit. The final 10% is left open for everything not listed above, whatever impresses the staff that week can be put towards the score here. For example this week you greatly improve upon your roleplaying or such then we can opt to give you credit here and boost your score. Or over the past few weeks you've give good effort and haven't ever complained when lossing or bragged when winning we may give you sportsmanship awards here. The final 10% is left open for those very reasons, maybe to try and keep a little order to the federation and to reward those who are making an impression on the staff with their character.

6: {Violations}You may not, I repeat may not! use another wrestler in your roleplays without their premission. That means no attacking, no spitting in their face, not even just passing them in the hall and saying "hi." If somebody comes to us stating that you used their wrestler without premission then you will automatically lose your match, unless you can bring us substancial evidence that they indeed gave you premission.

7: {FUN!} Have some freaking fun for the love of God! I'm serious, it's so sickening to see efeds fall apart because people take things too seriously and I know I've said this several times already but it is the absolute most important part of any efed.

Pic Bases

If you don't know, a pic base is the picture of the person you want to represent your wrestler. A pic base can be anybody it can range from real life wrestlers to movie stars, former or current Presidents, or even yourself. Basically if you tell us a person or give us a good picture to cut out then that is your pic base. We simply ask you to give a description on the join form of how you want the particular person to look. For example if you choose Jeff Hardy you can tell us "new look" Jeff Hardy or Hardy with blue hair or something along those lines. Pic bases should match your wrestler and personality, if you are a 355 lbs. there will be no Jeff Hardy as your pic base.

F.A.Q.

In the FAQ section you will find the answer to a lot of questions that I may have forgotten above or a subject that might need further explaining. All the answers in this FAQ are considered official rules too, that must be obeyed as if they were written above in the Rules section.

Q: What is the NHB Division?

A: The EWA No Holes Barred Division is basically NEW's Xtreme division, EWA's NHB division helps get developmental talent ready for the high flying and extreme action of the Xtreme division.

Q: So what exactly are the rules for a No Holes Barred match?

A: The matches anything goes, but the pinfall has to be made in the ring. There are no submission wins, and no countouts. Xtreme matches don't premote the use of foreign objects {except in certain matches}, where Hardcore matches encourage the use of weapons.

Q:So what does it take to be in the NHB Division

A:Your wrestler must have an Xtreme rating of atleast 7.

Q: I want a specific entrance, how can I have this put into the show.

A:Send in a strat telling what you want your entrance to be. Strats are the cure all of the efeding world. However you must write your own entrance exactly as it should appear, and you should also state if you want the announcers to have any kind of special emotion towards your wrestler's appearance. For example if you want the announcers to commit on how your wrestler looks depressed, then tell us. Strats can be almost anything as long as they don't start falling into the lines of an oncard.

Q: What if I write only one roleplay and my opponant does two, can I still win or is it over.

A: We do not judge on volume of roleplays, strats, and oncards. It may sound confusing, our point system isn't really points as in a score it's more of guidlines to help us choose the winner with less bias or distraction. If you only submit one roleplay and your opponant does everything extra, there is still a chance you can win the match, however your chances do slim. If your one roleplay is great, where as your opponant appears to have just done everything extra to try and out match your total with less quility, then you can still win. It's better to do one good roleplay then one great roleplay and one terrible roleplay. In the end our decision is still based on who we think deserves the win, remember that.
