First (Root) Chakra Location: Lower Hips/Genital area Color: Red Descriptors: Serpent, snake, dragon,"holy fire" Yang Aspect: How we put ourselves out into the world and how well we survive in it. Yin Aspect: How able we are to receive material assistance and keep our "will to live" alive. Source Of: passion, raw, primal feelings, rage, terror , joy, survival energy, material energy of achieving life purpose; fundamental programming about what we deserve in and out of life. Seat Of: Existence on the physical plane; the will to live. Key Word: Awareness Energy Type: Fire energy, kundalini (raw earth energy that feeds our life-force assuring survival) Physical Communication Style: Real life sensory impressions Psychic Communication Style: Physical Empathy Intuitive Communication Style: Receives/sends physical sensations relating to a spiritual issue sometimes creating an imaginary reality. Second (Navel) Chakra Location: Abdomen/Navel Area Color: Orange Descriptors: Water elements and water animals (i.e. fish and lizards) Yang Aspect: How we express feelings to others and create within the world. Yin Aspect: Absorbing and interpreting others feelings; making self-judgements about our own feelings and creativity; taking in life energy needed to feel and create. Source Of: feelings, creative energy, birthing and gestation activity (babies, business, ideas...anything) , feminine power. Seat Of: Feelings and our awareness of them; creative abilities; female identity Key Word: Feeling, creativity Energy Type: Chi Energy (life energy in the Chinese system). Physical Communication Style: Feeling and expressing out feelings; crying screaming, laughing, etc. Psychic Communication Style: Feeling empathy. Intuitive Communication Style: Uses feeling empathy to learn a soul lesson or integrate the soul more fully into the body. Yin Aspect: Opinions and judgements of self and others. Source Of: Personal power; self and other judgements; intellectual understanding of physical/worldly existence; masculine power. Seat Of: Self-esteem; power; directed will; ability to discern; masculine identity. Key Word: Power, discrimination. Energy Type: Mental, intellectual. Physical Communication Style: Perceived thoughts, ideas or intellectual understandings that register at a gut-level. Psychic Communication Style: Mental empathy or clairsentience (clear sensing). Intuitive Communication Style: Using clairsentience to achieve a position in the world whereby the soul can achieve its purpose. Problems: Digestive and metabolic disorders, weight problems, feelings of confusion or craziness and co-dependency. | 4. Fourth (Heart) Chakra Location: Heart Color: Green, Pink, Gold Descriptors: Earth-type element and mammalian animals. Yang Aspect: Relationships with others and what we are giving to the world. Yin Aspect: Relationship with self and what we are willing to receive from the world. Source Of: Healing energy; our innermost desires; our dreams. Seat Of: Compassion, relationships. Key Word: Love, Healing. Energy Type: Astral (connects to astral plane and dream world) Physical Communication Style: Actual physical sensations (i.e. heart pains, pangs and emotional tugs.) Psychic Communication Style: Receives messages from aspects of self and guides through dreams and O.B.E., guided/automatic writing and journaling. Intuitive Communication Style: When working with higher frequencies and energies (i.e. channeling guides, rays out-of-body chakra energy and the Divine.). Yin Aspect: Attuned to receiving guidance. Source Of: Truth. Seat Of: Wisdom; responsibility. Key Word: Expression Energy Type: Etheric (emotional energy that has been charged with spiritual awareness) Physical Communication Style: Language, sounding, singing, toning or any other verbal means of communication. Gathers information by hearing or reading. Psychic Communication Style: Clairaudience (clear hearing) the ability to hear or speak psychically with ourselves, spirit guides or other people.
