(Casting the circle)
"I conjure and create thee,
O Circle of Power.
Be thou a boundary between the worlds,
in a time that is not a time
and a place that is not a place
and a day that is not a day.
Let this Circle be a place
of Peace, Love & Power.
So Mote it be".

(Touching water with Athame)
"Blessings upon thee,
O creature of water,
I cast out from thee all impurities
and uncleanness of this world.
So Mote It Be"!

(Touching Salt with Athame)
"Blessings be upon this creature of salt;
let all good enter in.
Wherefore I do bless thee
and invoke thee
that thou mayest aid me
in the names of the Lord and Lady.
So Mote It Be"!

(The Salt is poured into the Water)
"Salt into liquid, Earth into Water.
May the salt of Earth admonish the water
to bear the virtue of the Great Sea.
For from this mixture comes all life.
Mother, be thou adored.
Blessed Be."

(Lighting charcoal/service candle)
"Blessings upon thee,
O creature of fire,
let all negativity retire from thee,
and be unable to harm
or deceive in any way.
So Mote It Be!"

(Touching Censer or Incense with Athame)
"Blessings be upon this creature of air;
let all good enter therein.
Wherefore I do bless thee and invoke thee
that thou mayest aid me
in the names of the Lord and Lady.
So Mote It Be!"

(Lighting/pouring the incense with/into the blessed service candle/brazier)
"Let the Fire and the Air make sweet the world!
Father, be thou adored.
Blessed Be."

Taking the water, start from the North
walking deosil sprinkle water around the circle chanting:

By powers of sea
Of ill be free
Round and round the circle be bound

Taking the Censer, start from the North
walking deosil smudge the circle chanting:

By powers of Fire and Air
Bring all that is fair
Round and round the circle be bound

Open door for all to enter,
anointing & smudging as they enter.

East Watchtower:
I stir the watchtower of the Air to come to us and guard this rite, for in the East is Spring and all that is begins first and again.

South Watchtower:
South Watchtower: I stir the watchtower of Fire to come to us and guard this rite, for in the South is Summer and all things grow and mature.

West Watchtower:
I stir the watchtower of Water to come to us and guard this rite, for in the West is Autumn and all things become fulfilled and are harvested.

North Watchtower:
I stir the watchtower of Earth to come to us and guard this rite, for in the North is Winter and all is the rest preparing for life to begin again in the East.
HPS:
Oh mighty Doghdha,
the Good God,
the God of Animals & Forest,
Controller of the powers & energies of the Green World,
Hear me & aid us.
We bid you Hail & Welcome.

HPS:
Anu,
Great Mother who created this earth
& all living things upon it.
For whom all females are created in the image of.
Hear me & aid us.
We bid you Hail & Welcome.

HPS:
Springtime is the time to sow the seed,
and it is the time for us to plant what we want to grow.
This season brings hope & joy,
expectations for desires realized;
and inspiration for new ideas.
Our lives are brought into balance
and we are reborn with the earth's renewal.

HPS:
The Doghdhas cauldron.
It is known to provide a never-ending supply of food & drink.
But it also provides spiritual knowledge.
Inside are decorated eggs,
I want everyone to take an egg from the cauldron.
The egg itself symbolizes new life, eternal life, fertility,
it is decorated to honor the deities, & is used as gifts.

(pass cauldron around as many times as possible,
everyone taking an egg, until all eggs are gone)

HPS:

HPS:
You will notice the dyed eggs have been filled with Sage & Lavender.
The reason behind this, is to surprise someone close to you by breaking the egg over their head to bless them with love, luck & new life of the season.

(have a female begin to pass out cups with soil inside to everyone present)

HPS:
This soil represents the young Goddess,
fertile & ready to bring forth new life

(have a male begin to place seeds in each cup)

HPS:
The seed is of the God,
planted in the mother's womb to be part of the earth, of life, & of us.
Let this seed and what it represents grow to manifestation.

HPS:
(Picks up the 2 containers of wine and
faces the altar & pours the wines into the chalice,
combining them and saying:)

I pour the red and the white, that they shall mix.
As life and death, joy and sorrow, peace and humility,
and impart their essence and wisdom unto all.
For I am the Father, Lover and Brother unto all,
the bringer of life, the giver of death,
before whom all time is ashamed.
Let my spirit breath upon you
and awaken the fires of inspiration within your soul.

(Placing the containers of wine on the altar and
picking up the athame in the right hand and
the chalice in the left...
lowers the athame into the chalice touching the wine)

For as this athame represents the male and the God,
So this chalice represents the female and the Goddess.
And they are conjoined,
to become one,
in truth, power and wisdom.
So Mote It Be!

HPS:
(places the athame on the altar
and takes a sip of the wine
and hands the chalice to the next person)
May the Father bless you and may you never thirst.

ALL:
Pass chalice taking sips and saying
"May you never thirst"

HPS:
(Over cakes)
Mother, let this symbol of your bounty
which sustains all creation and life
links us to the never-ending chain of life.

(Takes small bit and passes plate to the next person)

May the Mother bless you and you never find hunger.

All:
Pass plate around the circle saying
"May you never hunger."

HPS:

thank you for coming forth to assist & guide us.
Stay if you will
Go if you must,
we bid you hail & farewell.

be unto your heart
