chapter 15
Amanda sat in the waiting area before boarding the plane. She took out her cell phone and called her fathers house.
Hello? Her father answered.
Hi Daddy. She said
Hi, are you at the airport?
Yeah. Waiting for the plane to board.
Daddy whos on the phone? Eve asked walking into the room picking up the phone.
Me.
Oh hey Manda. Where are you?
At the airport.
How are you?
Im ashamed of myself.
Amanda you have to pay the consequences for your actions. Her dad said.
I know dad. I just-why send me off? Im going somewhere where I dont know anyone, live alone, whole new job setting.
I know its going to be hard but youll adapt to it in no time.
Its going to be different without you two there. She said
I have no one to play pranks on the new agents now. Eve said.
Amanda laughed. Im gonna miss that. Dont do too much without me.
Alright.
Howd Josh take it? Edward asked
He cried, but was calm and cool about it. He understood. He was positive, at least one of us was.
Manda, why arent you thinking positive? Eve asked.
Because my life is going to become a living hell.
Youll be fine. Her dad said.
Wait until I go into a funky depressionIm kidding. She chuckled.
Just keep up with work and youll manage. He said
Give me a call and well chat whenever. Eve said
Okay.
All first class passengers are able to board the plane now. The person said over the intercom.
Oh thats me. I have to go.
Okay, well miss you. They both said
Ill miss you guys. Tell Murphy I said bye. Love you guys. Bye.
Bye.
Amanda hung up the phone and grabbed her carry on bag and boarded the plane. After a while, the plane was finally in the air. She began to think of everything that went wrong. What she could have done to have prevented it? What her career was going to be like after these 3 months? What should she expect or what is it going to be like in Seattle? All these questions ran through her mind. But most of all, she was worried the most about Josh. What was going to happen to them? She was in love with him and couldnt be with him.
What can I do to be with him? She thought to herself. That question ran through her mind as she fell into a deep sleep. She hadnt slept in a week and she was glad she finally got the chance to.

2 months later
After work Amanda drove to the local ticket master. She parked her car in the parking lot and walked inside.
Hello maam, how may I help you? The lady working there asked.
Are you still selling *NSYNC tickets for next weeks concert? Amanda asked
Yes, they are almost sold out.
Can I please have 1 ticket?
Sure. The woman rung up the ticket. Wow, lucky you.
What?
This ticket is on the floor.
Really?
She showed Amanda the concert seating and Amandas seat was on the floor about 10 rows away from the stage. (The stage is like the one for the Celebrity Tour 2002)
Oh cool.
That will be $110.
Dang. Ok here. Amanda handed her a $120. She got her change and ticket and walked back outside to her car to go home.
I hope Josh wont see me. She thought to herself.
She parked her car in the garage and walked inside her apartment. She set her bag by the door and walked into the kitchen. She got a bite to eat and then went into a room she made her office. She turned on her laptop and worked for another hour or so, then decided to go to sleep because she had to get up early.
She changed into her pajamas and before she got into bed the phone rang.
Hello? She answered
Hey Manda. Eve said
Hi Jo, whats up?
Nothing much decided to call you to see whats upyou busy?
I was planning on going to sleep but Ill talk to you for a little bit.
Aw, I feel special.
Amanda laughed.
Sohowve you been? How is it there?
It sucks! I hate it out here. I know no one still after 2 months. She chuckled, Im so lonely Eve.
Im sorry, just think you have like 3 or 4 weeks left.
Not really. Matthews is making me stay for an extra 3 months.
Are you serious? Why?
He says because they need my help. He told me and I got mad. I told him I want to go home, Im lonely here and sick of it. All he did was apologize and I still have to stay.
Aw, that sucks.
Yeah it does.
So what do you do? Basically go to work then go home?
Yeah basically. Sleep. Work. Eat. Work. Video Games
Eve laughed.
Then sleep again
You play video games now?
Yeah Im a pro at it.
Cool. Ill have to practice so when you get back Ill kick your ass.
You wish!...Well anyway, its getting late and I have to wake up extra early tomorrow. Ill call you tomorrow.
Ok, goodnight.
Night. Amanda hung up the phone and turned off the lights then going to sleep.

A week later
Amanda pulled her car into a parking space. Getting out and locking the doors. Walking towards the stadium. She gave the person at the gate her ticket and he gave her the stub back.
Thank you. She said
,p>
Enjoy the show. He said
She walked in looking at the signs above her trying to figure out how to get to her seat. Amused by all the girls extremely excited about seeing the guys. So was she. She hadnt seen them for almost 3 months. She probably shouldnt even be there because she wasnt allowed to contact any of the guys, especially JC. But he was the one she wanted to see the most. She got to the floor and looked for her seat.
Amanda? She heard her name. She turned around to see who it was.
Amanda is that you?
She recognized the person. It was Lonnie, one of *NSYNCs bodyguards.
Oh hey Lonnie. She walked over to him.
Hi how are you doing?
Fine.
Do you live here in Seattle?
Uhno. I came to see the concert here because they werent showing where I live. She lied.
Oh. There was an awkward silence.
He misses you. Lonnie said.
I know. I miss him too.
Do you want to go back and say hi to him? Im sure hell drop everything to see you.
She chuckled. He would. You dont know how bad I want to, but I cant.
Ah, I understand.
Cant take any chances this time.
Of course.
But tell him I said hi and I love him. She smiled.
I sure will. It was good to see you. Enjoy the show.
Thanks. I will. Bye.
Amanda walked away, going to find her seat once again.
~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~
All the guys sat in the dressing room talking when Lonnie walked in.
Hey Lonnie! They all said
Hey guysJC guess who I just saw?
Your mama?
No! Dumbass He chuckled. No I just saw Amanda. We talked for a few minutes.
JC jumped from his seat. Are you serious?
Yeah.
Whatd she say? How does she look? Where is she? He asked anxiously.
Calm down C!...I just saw her and called out her name and she came over and I asked her how she was and she said shes fine. I asked if she lived here in Seattle and she said no you guys arent playing where she lives-
Where do we not perform? Josh interrupted him.
I dont know? They all shrugged.
Can I finish?
Yeah, sorry.
Then I told her you missed her and she said I know, I miss him too. I asked her if she wanted to come back and say hi to you but she said she really wanted to but she couldnt. She cant take any chances this time. And she said to you Hi and I love you. So yeahthere ya go.
JC sat back down. Oh my god, I cant believe shes here. I have to find herLonnie, man can you go look for her?
Yeah man, but you dont want her to get in trouble again do you?
No.
Then you cant see her.
Man, call Eve and ask her if you can three-way or something. Justin suggested.
I really want to see her though. He said becoming quiet.
