Amanda walked into the house, JC followed her close behind. He closed the door after walking in. He walked into the living room with Amanda, sitting next to her on the couch.
He grabbed her hands and held them in his. �What�s wrong? What did your boss say?� He asked concerned.
�I am suspended for 3 months��
�Aw I�m sorry, what happens now then?�
She hesitated, �I have to leave.�
�Leave? Leave where, for how long?�
She looked away for a second. �I can�t tell you where I�m going��
�Why not?�
�I don�t know? Only my father, Eve, and Murphy can know where I am�believe me I wish so bad I could tell you.�
�I don�t understand? They suspend you and make you leave?�
�I went beyond the boundaries I wasn�t supposed to be involved with a client. Any one of the other agents would have probably got the same punishment.�
JC�s eyes were getting watery. �This is my fault.�
�No it�s not Josh.� She placed her hand on his cheek, �This is NOT your fault. I was the one who knew the rules and should have stopped it before anything else happened.�
�I pushed you though��
�Josh I don�t want you thinking it�s your fault and blaming yourself because it�s not, okay?�
�Ok.� He said quietly, �When are you leaving?�
�Tonight�at 9.�
�Tonight?�
�Yes. I have to pack before someone gets here to pick me up.�
�I�ll help you.�
�Ok.� They stood up walking upstairs to her room.

�Ok I�ll go in with the bag of money and everyone surround the building. When I ask to order something, come in.� Eve told the other agents. Everyone followed their instructions and Eve walked into the diner.
�May I help you ma�am?� A woman asked that was behind the counter.
�That�s her.� Eve thought to herself, after seeing the picture from the background records.
�Yes, I have to drop this off.�
�I can take it.�
�I was told to give it to a woman named Bobbie.�
�That�s me.�
�May I see some identification?�
�Just give me the fucking bag!�
�Well maybe I can order something first.�
�No, give me the bag!�
A rush of agents crowded into the diner. In uniform and armed.
�Freeze�put your hands in the air, you are under arrest.� Murphy said holding a gun up.
�I thought I told you to come alone?�
�I didn�t believe you�why do you got to believe me?� Eve said
Murphy went behind the counter and arrested Bobbie, giving her, her rights then talking her outside to the car to take her to headquarters.
Eve walked out of the diner. Her father stepped out of the trunk and walked towards her.
�That was easier than I thought.� Eve told him.
�You did well.� He told her.
�It doesn�t feel the same without Amanda.�
�I know. I�m going to miss her.�
�Me too.�
�She�s moving to Seattle.� He said
�Yeah she told me. We�re still able to contact her right?�
�Yeah we�ll be able to call her. I�m not sure if we�ll be able to visit her right away.�
�Why is her punishment so harsh? Why didn�t I get the same for what I did?�
�She got caught, you didn�t. You were the lucky one.�
�God, I should be there too.�
�She�ll be fine.�
�Where is she living?�
�They have an apartment for her already. She�ll live there until all of its over.�
�All by herself?�
�Yeah.�
�She�s never lived by herself. You think she�ll manage?�
�She can get a pet.� He chuckled
�Yeah.�
There was silence for a few seconds.
�Let�s go Jo.� Edward said
�Ok.� They got into the Suburban and went back to the station.

�Amanda?� JC said
�Yeah?�
�Why does everyone call you Junior?�
She chuckled. �Because there are 3 Jones�s at the academy so not to get confused we gave each other nicknames. Mine is Junior because I�m the youngest of the 3.�
�Oh�I get it.� He laughed.
�Yeah.�
�I have another question�� He walked towards her. She was standing beside the bed putting her clothes into the suitcase. He sat next to it.
�What?� She said
�Why did you become a FBI agent?�
She smiled lightly, taking a deep breath. �I sort of grew up at the academy because my father has worked there for so long. So Eve and I naturally grew up to wanting to be in the FBI�� She hesitated for a second.
�What�s wrong?� Josh asked
�There�s another reason why�� She sighed deeply. ��My mother died when I was only 5 years old�she was murdered.� Josh gasped.
��Ever since then or when I finally understood what happened, I�ve wanted to be like Daddy and catch the bad guys. We still don�t know who did it�and I still want to know who.� Tears were running down her face. Josh stood up and embraced her in his arms. He held her tightly, rubbing her back.
�I�m sorry honey�that�s horrible.� He whispered.
She didn�t say anything. Her cries became sniffles as she calmed down.
�I don�t want to go Josh.� She said after a long moment of silence.
�I don�t want to go either�will I be able to call you, but not know where you are?� He asked.
She looked up at him. �No, you can�t.�
�Are you kidding? So you pretty much have to act as if I don�t exist for 3 months?�
�Basically. I don�t even get to see Eve or my dad for like the first month or so. I have to learn my lesson.� She said annoyed.
�This is ridiculous.�
�It�s life. This is what happens when you break the rules at the academy. I�ve seen a lot of agents being fired because of affairs with clients. I�m surprised I didn�t get fired.�
�You�re lucky you didn�t.�
�When you really look at it, not really�I�m being tortured for 3 months, sent off to live by myself, which I have never done before. I might burn down the house.� She laughed.
JC smiled. He was going to miss her more than anything.
�What am I going to do without you?� He said looking into her eyes. She smiled.
There was the sound of a horn outside.
�Oh�that�s me. I got to go now.� She said dreading this moment. Josh helped her put her bags in the taxi. They went back inside to get some last things. The two stood at the foyer.
�I never thought I�d have to say goodbye to you so soon.� Amanda said, her eyes were red from crying.
�Don�t say that, we�ll be together again soon.� Josh said
�I�m not sure, but I think this is goodbye for good.� Tears ran down her face.
Josh embraced her, holding her tightly. �I�m not saying goodbye because I know I�m spending the rest of my life with you.� He whispered into her ear.
She smiled lightly. Holding onto him tighter. They stood there holding each other for a few minutes. The sound of a horn was heard again. They driver was getting impatient. They pulled away from each other. Josh cupped her face in his hands.
�I love you.� He said staring straight at her.
�I love you too.�
�I�m going to miss you like crazy.� She smiled lightly. �I�ll miss you too.�
He leaned in and gave her one last kiss before she left for who knew for how long. He pulled away looking at her, wiping her tears away.
�Don�t cry sweetheart.�
�I won�t�.� She paused. �Well �.I�ll see you around I guess.� She chuckled.
�Yeah see you around�I love you Amanda.� JC said
�I love you too Joshua.� She kissed his lips one last time before walking to open the door. He watched her leave.
�Bye.� She said before closing the door.
He watched her get into the taxi and drive away. His hear became heavy. He suddenly felt lonely. The tears began to fall down his cheeks. His heart was breaking.
