"So you're going out with Grace?" I asked J. He just stared at the floor. I couldn't believe that after all these years I still found J extremely attractive. I really couldn't keep my eyes off him. Now I knew what I had to do. I had to win him back. It shouldn't be too hard considering he's going out with Grace.
"I guess you could call it that." J turned back to the mixing board and played around with a few of the switches and things. I couldn't blame him, I'd be embarrassed too if I was going out with someone like Grace.
We sat there a little while longer in silence. Neither of us knew what to say. Just then my mobile went off. I quickly picked it up. It was my dad. "Hi dad." We chatted for a little bit and he invited me over to his house.
"J wanna go over to my dad's house with me? That way we don't have to sit around and slowly become dumber through the prescence of Grace?"
"Yeah let's go. Not only avoiding Grace, but I bet when we open that door all our friends will fall from leaning up against it." I nodded my head. I knew that was exactly what would happen. I grabbed my jacket and we walked towards the door. J slowly turned the door knob then quickly opened the door. Everyone except Scott and Val came crashing into the studio.
"Uh hi guys. We were just looking for something." Lori explained. They quickly got up and brushed themselves off. "So what are you two up too? Grace has prepared a delicious meal for us. Do you want to go eat?"
"Actually we're going over to my dad's. Later." I grabbed J and we headed up the stairs and out the door. We climbed in J's car and started the engine. As we backed out of the driveway we saw everyone standing in the doorway staring at us like we were crazy. Oh well.

"Scott, I don't know if I can just up and start where we left off. You've been gone a long time and we've both changed at least a little bit." Scott and I were upstairs talking. Well we had started out snogging but I told him we really needed to talk. And boy did we ever. I mean I still absolutely adore the guy, but I want to make him sweat a little. Come on, you don't expect me to just jump right back in the relationship. If I make him wait a little bit I think our relationship will be more solid. Besides he's cute when he's nervous.
"So you want to wait a little bit?" He asked me. I nodded my head. "I guess I can live with that. As long as you promise to come to the premiere with me and not like Ritchie or someone."
"Of course." We sat there a little bit longer. "How about we go downstairs and see how everyone else is doing?" Scott seemed to like the idea and we headed down the stairs. Everyone seemed very distraught and were standing around the front door.
"what's going on?" Scott asked them.
"Addie and J just left together." Sean explained.
"yeah and we didn't even get to see J dump Grace." Kelly whined. Our friends could be so weird sometimes.
"huh what?" Grace asked. Guess they had forgotten she was standing right next to them.
"Nothing Grace. Go check on the fish." Grace left and was soon forgotten again. We all sat around and talked about what we should do next. Abs and Lori of course wanted something to do with slingshots. The rest of us were a little skeptical of that plan. We just knew that things were going somewhat according to plan, but not totally.
