Lori
Things were going pretty well except for one thing, Ritch and Addie appeared to be getting closer! If this continues all our plans will be ruined! Ruined I tell you! I vow not to let it happen. I looked behind me and saw Ritch and Addie sitting there chatting. Makes me sick.
�Abs, look at them.� I whispered to him. He looked in the rear-view mirror and noticed what I noticed. He looked at me and raised his eyebrows. �This is trouble.� He mouthed to me. I nodded my head.
When we got to the house I grabbed Addie and pulled her to the side. �What do you think you�re doing?� I asked her.
�uh, going to J�s.� she replied.
�No I mean with Ritch. Why are you being so nice to him?� Addie gave me a look like I was crazy. �Don�t give me that look. You like Ritch don�t you?� Addie�s eyes almost burst out of her eyes.
�What are you talking about?!?!?! That�s bloody insane!!! That�s just dumb!!! Know what, you have your own plans and I have my own so bug off!� Addie yelled at me before storming inside. Abs came over to me.
�What was that all about?�
�She got mad at me when I asked about Ritch. I think there�s something she�s not telling us.�
�You think?� I nodded my head. �Well we better go inside, everyone else
is already in. Did you see Scott and Val?� Abs wrapped his arm around my
waist and we walked inside. Addie had never gotten mad at me before and now
I�m totally confused.
Addie
I walked into my house and became scared out of my mind. The living room I had decorated so carefully was bright barbie pink. I HATE PINK!!! I want to rip J�s head off for doing this.
�What happened to my house?� I asked Sean and Kelly. They were the first two I saw.
�Meet Grace.� Kelly simply stated. Then out of the kitchen came this Grace person. I have one word for you, AIRHEAD!!! I actually have more but choose not to share them at this time. She had bleached blonde hair, really bad job too, there were patches everywhere. She had caked on makeup, I really hated lots of makeup so that really bugs me. And to top it all off I could tell she had no personality, she was wearing one of my outfits I had worn to a premiere a little while ago.
�Oh my goodness! I can�t believe its really you! I am such a huge fan! I almost died when j told me you gave him tickets to your new movie premiere.� She kept on babbling, but I tuned her out. So this was J�s new girlfriend. He could do so much better. I wouldn�t even wish this girl on Ritch.
�Do you know where J is?� I rudely interrupted her. Everyone was trying to control their laughter. They can laugh for all I care, it doesn�t matter to me.
�Um, well um, you see...� Grace desperately racked her brain the size of a pea for words.
�Apparently you don�t know. So who does know where he is?�
�He locked himself in his studio down in the basement and won�t come out.� Sean answered. �We were hoping you could talk to him.� Of course, leave it to me to get J out of one of his moods.
�Fine.� I threw my hands up in defeat. Of course inside I was only too
happy to see J alone. I mean come on, I still liked the guy and he was
dating this weirdo who I now have to beat and throw in the lake. I walked
down the stairs and stood outside J�s studio door. I had this built for him.
A birthday present. I had it totally decked out and everything. J used to
spend hours down there. I really hope he still does and not just to get away
from that thing everyone calls Grace.
Kelly
Grace was hyperventilating about now. She couldn�t belive how dumb she had acted in front of Addie. �I mean I was just so excited to meet her I couldn�t think of what to say.� She sobbed to me and Lori. Val and Scott had snuck off somewhere together. Hmm, I wonder what they�re doing.
�I�m sure Addie understands. Besides she�s just a little tired after her long flight. She hates airplanes and you know.� Lori told her. I couldn�t belive how compassionate Lori was being. I�m sure she has something else up her sleeve. I sure hope so cos I�m completely out of ideas.
�Hopefully the fish will cheer her up! I�m gonna go look on it now!� Grace jumped up and ran out the door to the kitchen.
�Good, she�s finally gone.� Lori sighed once Grace was out of earshot. �That girl has serious problems.�
�I agree and I just met her.� Ritch commented. He sure looked different
from when Lori and Abs first brought him back from the woods. I still can�t
belive Ritch let himself get like that. Well I guess I can. I mean he went
through a rough break-up with Billie and then the band broke up, I guess he
went through some type of temporary insanity.
J
�Go away!� I yelled through the door of my studio. After that little stunt all my mates had decided to pull I wasn�t going to talk to any of them. Not a one. Until they promised to explain to Addie about Grace. I don�t know why I care so much about what Addie thinks about Grace, I just do. But the knocking didn�t stop. Whoever it was kept pounding.
Reluctantly I got up and looked through the little peephole. Outside stood Addie. I quickly opened the door. �Addie hey.� I said as soon as the door was open.
�About time you opened the door. I�ve been standing there for like 5 minutes pounding on it.� Addie said as she brushed past me and sat in one of the chairs.
�I was yelling at you to go away, but remember the room is sound proof so you wouldn�t have been able to hear me.� I shut the door and looked at Addie who spun around in the chair. Just like she used to when we were together.
�Grace?� she looked at me quizzically. �You�re going out with that airhead Grace?� I turned red and got ready to explain to Addie about Grace. Boy did I have a lot of explaining to do.
