That one waitress bird is hot. Too bad she and J don’t get along. J would probably shoot me if I asked her out. Abs and his friend Lori look pretty cozy.
“Your friend what’s his name is a real big jerk.” Ah the waitress bird was talking to me.
“J, he’s not a big jerk. He was just in a bad mood that day.” I tried to explain to her. After we had left the restaurant J had told me how hot he thought she was.
“Oh J. I bet he had to shorten his real name cos he’s so stupid he couldn’t remember it. Though I must admit he is good looking. By the way, my name’s Addie.”
“I’m Sean. So...I’m nothing like J. But don’t’ worry about him. He’s real moody sometimes.” Addie flashed me a great smile.
“I wonder where Brittany is? I haven’t seen her for awhile. Not since she ran out of the kitchen crying.” I scanned the room looking for the little girl. I then noticed her out on the balcony.
“There she is. Out on the balcony with what looks like Ritchie.” Addie began laughing hard.
“According to Brittany she and Ritchie are destined for eachother and are going to get married.” I began laughing now too. That was kinda funny. I looked up and saw J sending me dirty looks. Probably cos I was talking to Addie. “Know what Sean. You’re a real nice bloke. Glad I met you. We should hang out sometime. Without J of course. You’d like my roommate Kelly. She’s real nice.”
I just smiled at Addie. She wanted to hang out with me! Hardly any girls went for me. Usually they went for the other guys first.
~Lori~
Abs and I talked all night long. WE were totally and completely compatible. Sure I got mad at him a few times, but it was all a big joke. “Look at Ritch and Brittany. Ahh they’re so cute!” I commented to Abs. We looked out on the balcony and there stood Ritch and Brittany deep in conversation.
“Screw Ritch and Brittany. What about us?” Abs said. I looked at him with mock anger in my eyes.
“Excuse me? I think it’s time we left now. Addie go grab Brittany we’re leaving.”
“YES! FINALLY SHE’S LEAVING!” J exclaimed.
“Shut-up J!” I yelled.
“What just happened here Lori?” Abs asked grabbing my arm. I looked over and saw J and Addie in another argument.
“We’re leaving now Abs. It’s one in the morning. Brittany was supposed to be home at 12. See ya.” By that time Brittany and Addie had come to my side.
“Come on Lori. Let’s go. See ya Sean and Scott, I had fun. J, I hope you choke on your food. Abs this was a nice party.” Addie said.
“Goodbye Ritchie my love!” a lovestruck Brittany called out. I sent Abs one last look before I walked out the door.
~Abs~
“Okay, does anyone else understand what just happened here” I asked once the girls had left. Everyone else had left earlier so after they left it was just us guys.
“Well, Addie is annoying. I don’t like her one bit.” J told us.
“J, leave Addie alone. She’s a nice bird. I don’t see why you don’t like her. She seems like your type.” Sean commented.
“WHAT!? MY TYPE?! NEVER!? She has way too much attitude is quite rude.” J retorted. Everyone laughed.
“Well since you don’t like her, I’m gonna go for her.” Scott said. “She is one fine looking bird.”
“Okay, wait. We were talking about me and Lori here. Not J and Addie.” I pointed out.
Again J blew up. “No don’t ever say J and Addie! That is an evil phrase! Never ever say it again. And I have no clue what happened with you and Lori Abs. But I’m going home to my bed. Maybe you should call Lori tomorrow. Or go visit her at work.” J did have a point there.
“Yeah, we should all be going now. Ritch you coming?” Scott yelled out onto the balcony.
“Yeah,” he said walking inside. “But I think we have a problem. I think Brittany thinks we’re engaged.” We all began laughing again. “Lads its not funny. I’m engaged to a fourteen year old. And Abs is dating her sister so its not like I can easily avoid her.”
“I’m not dating Lori! She got mad at me for something. And I have no clue what!”
~Addie~
“Okay Lori what happened in there?” I asked once we were back to our apartment. We had taken Brittany home. The whole way there she had talked nonstop about Ritch. It was Ritch this and Ritch that. Not very much fun.
“Leave me alone Addie. I don’t wanna talk about it.” Lori then walked into her room and slammed the door.
“What the bloody heck was that?” Kelly asked walking out of her bedroom in her pajamas scratching her head. I guess the screaming and slamming had woken her up.
“That was Lori being pissed off. She was having a great time tonight then like totally flipped out. But Kelly I met the coolest guy for you tonight. His name is Sean. You’d like him tons.” Kelly just nodded and went back to her room.
I then went to my room and changed into my pajamas. I began thinking about that night. But all my thoughts kept going back to J, Mr. I can’t find my ears. He was so annoying! I couldn’t stand that kid! OH well, I thought gotta sleep.
