It had been three months since the whole J,Katie, Heidi fiasco. Heidi refused to talk to J. She kept in contact with Abs and Brittany who had returned to America. But she would not talk to J. And J was pretty miserable.
"Abs. Come on. Tell me where she is. At least tell me how she's doing!" J begged Abs one afternoon. Abs shook his head. "Abs. I'm begging you. I'll give you anything you want. I'll do anything. I just need to talk to her. I haven't talked to her in three months 13 days 15 hours 37 minutes and 44 wait 45 seconds."
Abs looked at his friend and saw how desperate he was. "J, you're pathetic. You do realize that if you had believe Heidi in the first place none of this would have ever happened?"
"Yes. I'm quite well aware of that. Now will you tell me where she is?" Abs shook his head once more. "ABS!!! COME ON MAN!!!" J screamed at him.
"You know J. If you keep treating me like this, I just might not tell you. Hold on. I have to call Heidi." Abs went into another room and dialed the number.
"Hello?"
"Heidi love. How are you today?"
"Um. Okay I guess. Why do you ask?"
"How would you feel if um a certain person who goes by one letter were to come visit you sometime like today?" Abs couldn't hear anything on the other line for the next couple of minutes. "Heidi? You there?"
"Yeah. Guess I'm in a little shock. Sure why not. As long as he promises not to act like he did last time." A smile spread across Abs' face. Now he wouldn't have to listen to J beg him 24/7 anymore.
"So what time do you want us to come today?"
"Not so fast. J needs to earn this visit. Listen up. I have a plan." Abs listened intently to Heidi's plan. He had to admit Heidi had the best plans. When she was done they hung up and Abs went back to J. As soon as he entered the room J had him knocked down on the floor.
"J man, what's your problem?" Abs asked lying flat on his back.
"Sorry. So what'd she say?" J danced from one foot to another and looked just like a little kid.
"She said yes." J started screaming and yelling and doing a little victory dance around the flat. Abs just shook his head and started mumbling something about J begin pathetic. "J, J, before you get too excited, Heidi said you have to earn your visit. Starting tomorrow at exactly 9 o'clock AM, you will start the Heidi scavenger hunt. Have fun mate, you know how twisted Heidi can be."
J's little victory celebration was kinda dampered now. Now he would have to wait even longer. "Aww, man. Can't you just tell me where she is and I surprise her?" Abs shook his head. "Nope. Tomorrow 9 AM I'll be here to start you on your way. Right now, I have to go see Heidi to work out the details. And don't even think about following me. You do realize that if she finds out she'll really never talk to you again." And with that Abs left J with his thoughts and left the flat.
