After the party ended and everyone left Kaye was in a much better mood. She really hated to be surrounded by people. Well everyone but Five, Dot, Abbie, and Shawn had gone home. These people had decided to stay and help clean up.
"So was the party really that bad?" Ritchie asked Kaye.
"Yes." She said picking up some streamers and tossing them in a bag. "You know I hate to be the center of attention."
"Which explains your career choice as a famous actress." J put in. Kaye sent him a look.
"I like what I do a lot. If you haven't noticed I try to stay out of the limelight as much as possible. I've only done like five interviews before in my life and I hardly ever attend the premieres of my movies. So therefore, I hate to be the center of attraction."
"Geez, sorry didn't mean to offend you." J muttered and went back to cleaning up.
"Did anyone else get the feeling that we were being watched all night?" Sean asked aloud. The whole night he couldn't shake the feeling that someone somewhere was watching them.
"Well there was a lot of people here, maybe one of them was watching you." Scott told him.
"No I agree with Sean," Shawn replied, "I felt it and i still feel like someone is watching us." Chills ran through everyone's bodies. They all had felt it too but thought the idea was so proposterous they didn't want to bring it up.
"Well i kinda got that feeling too." Abs agreed. One by one everyone agreed. Well everyone but Kaye.
"Will you guys stop that. You're giving me the creeps and I have to sleep here tonight. Which reminds me, everyone better go, Scott and I start filming tomorrow." Everyone knew she was right. They all collected their stuff and headed out the door and to the lift.
"Way to blow it with Kaye, J. With that remark about her career choice." Abs teased him.
"I don't know what you're talking about." J replied.
"Aww, come on J, we all know you like her and are wicked jealous that Scott is working with her." Dot told him. J rolled his eyes and pushed the down button.
"I don't like Kaye. She's just a friend. Enough said." But everyone knew J did like her. It didn't help that Scott liked her too J thought. And he knew that remark wasn't very smooth.
"So Abbie can i have your number?" Abs asked her, "I'm going to be having some time off soon and want someone cool to spend it with. What do you say?"
"Sure Abs." She took out a piece of paper and scribbled her number on it. By then the lift had gotten there and they all climbed inside it. They lift door closed and they all got ready for the ride down. The lift moved for a few moments but then it stopped and the lights went out. A few people screamed.
"If anyone starts singing 'When the lights go out' I swear i'll kill them." Ritchie threatened. That got a laugh out of everyone. But in the back of their minds they were all a little scared. They were stuck in a lift without power and it was kinda dark.
