“So Scott are you going to do the job?” Kaye asked him as everyone sat around her dressing room waiting for her to get ready to leave so they could go out to dinner.
“I don’t know, I mean we are on a break right now...” he began. Kaye really hoped he would. He seemed like a ton of fun to be around and would make the set more interesting. Right now it was quite boring. Everyone was so stiff.
“Yeah, it might be good publicity for the band.” J added. Everyone agreed. That it would be, that it would. J couldn’t keep his eyes off of Kaye. He really liked her. But if Scott was working with her, it would give him the edge. And that would mean J would have to work extra hard to hook it up with Kaye. But J was always up for a challenge.
Scott was thinking pretty much the same thing. If he worked with Kaye, he’d have a better chance of hooking up with her. And Ritch knew what the other guys were thinking and was determined not to let it happen. Kaye was like his little sister and he had to protect her.
“So Kaye how did you get into Karate and acting and all that?” J asked her.
“Well I started gymnastics when I was like 3, and then my brother was doing karate so I joined him, and then Ritchie started acting so I did too. And here I am now. Starring in my own major motion picture!!!”
“That’s really cool.” Abs told her. He hadn’t said much so far. Kaye just sat back and smiled.
“Well I’m ready to go. Are we going to go hang out or something?” She asked the guys.
“How about we treat you to dinner?” Ritchie suggested. It wasn’t very often he got to see Kaye with their busy schedules and everything.
“Excellent.” Kaye went to get their bag and they headed out the door.
“Um, can we stop and talk to Johnny?” Scott asked. “I wanna tell him I’m gonna do the movie.” Everyone stopped dead in their tracks.
“Yes!!!” Kaye exclaimed. “I finally get to work with someone I like!!!” All the guys were stunned. Oh the competition had just been turned up a notch.
