"Scott, what are you doing?" Abs asked. The guys were sitting in their dressing room waiting to go out and do an interview and appearance on TV.
"Practicing my karate moves."
"You look like an idiot." J told him. The reason for this interview was to announce Scott's acting job. Everyone thought it would be better if they announced it to the world instead of having the press find out about it and create rumors.
"You're just jealous because I'm in a movie and you're not." Scott said as he stuck out his tongue and then attempted to do another karate move.
"You stick that tongue out again and I won't be responsible for where it goes next." J told him getting angry. True he was jealous, but it wasn't about the acting job, it was about Scott being closer to Kaye.
"Where's Ritchie?" Abs wondered. "He was supposed to be here fifteen minutes ago." Like I said before the guys were supposed to be doing an interview and Ritchie had yet to grace them with his appearance.
"Probably off snogging Ember somewhere. He seems to be doing that a lot lately." Sean suggested. But right after he said it Ritch burst through the door all out of breath and with someone else.
"Sorry I'm late guys. I had to go pick up someone." Ritch explained.
"Hey guys!" kaye exclaimed when she saw them. All the guys minus J rushed at her to give her a hug and stuff. J had decided that maybe the best move to get Kaye was to play it cool. Scott was the first to ask why she was there.
"Well Johnny and your manager decided that it would probably be a better move if I was here when we announced Scott's big movie. So here I am." Kaye told them. The guys then started asking her millions of different questions but she didn't hear a one, she was too busy wondering what she had done to make J ignore her.
At the interview...
"So it says here that Scott, you're going to be taking a break from Five for awhile to do a movie. Care to explain that." The interviewer asked the guys.
"Yes, I would love to explain that. But with the help of my beautiful co-star Kaye Lund, Kaye come on out." Scott said. Everyone looked towards the side of the stage for Kayes entrance.
Kaye shyly walked onto the stage. She hated doing live interviews. She never knew what to say and felt as if everyone was watching her and judging her. Kaye looked at the couch to see where Ritch was sitting so she could sit next to him. He sat next to the end of the couch and next to J. She quickly walked over towards them and squeezed in between the two. Ritch grabbed her hand and J put his arm around her shoulders for support.
"Kaye, this certainly is a pleasure. You seem to try to avoid our calls quite well." The interviewer said once Kaye was seated.
"No, its just I have a lot to do." Kaye answered. The interviewer raised her eyebrows. It was a well known fact that Kaye Lund hated to do live interviews and this particular journalist hated Kaye for some odd reason.
"Well, anyways so what's this movie about?"
"Um it's just a little adventure movie. I'm a secret agent/ninja/vigilante and Scott is my sidekick. Just your average movie." The interviewed nodded her head.
"So Scott how did you get a role in this movie?"
"Well Ritchie and Kaye are good mates and one day he took us along to go visit her on the set. Well the actor who had been cast as being her sidekick had a problem with being a sidekick to a girl and when the director saw me he said I was exactly what they were looking for and hired me."
"we'd only been filming like a few days so it wasn't anything major yet that I didn't have a sidekick. We had filmed all the scenes that I didn't have my sidekick so um yeah..." Kaye explained to everybody.
"So are any of you romantically attached to Kaye?" The interviewer asked. They knew this question was coming. "You did say you are good mates with Ritch."
"No I'm not romantically attached to any of the guys. And I am only good mates with Ritch. Besides he has a perfectly nice girlfriend." Kaye said. She knew the line about Ritch having a girlfriend would get the interviewer off her back for awhile. And it did.
"Know what, I could really go for some nachos right now." Scott said once they were back in their dressing room. After the little bit about Ritchie having a girlfriend things didn't focus on Kaye so much.
"Scott are you always hungry?" Sean asked him collecting some of his things so they could get out of there. Something about the interviewer gave him the creeps.
"Most of the time. So who's up for nachos?"
"This conversation is really great guys, but can we get out of here soon please? That interviewer lady, what's her name, hates me for some reason and I wanna go. I think she like wants me dead or something." Kaye pleaded with the guys. She really did get the feeling that the interviewer lady hated her.
"yeah, let's go." Ritch agreed with Kaye. Besides they were running late already and there was something Kaye didn't know she had to be at soon.
"But I still want nachos." Scott whined as they headed out the door towards the cars. Whitney Bryant aka the interviewer lady watched them go. Yes Kaye Lund would pay for what she did to her. And while she was at it Five would have to pay too. Nothing better than hurting someone through their friends...
