| THIS WAS A SCORE FROM THE ETF CONVENTION IN 2006. I HAD ONE OF THESE MANY YEARS AGO, BUT AS A DUMB KID, I TRASHED IT. THE ONLY DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THIS AND THE ONE I HAD BEFORE WAS UHF. THIS ONE DOESN'T HAVE IT. THE CABINET NEEDS REPAINTED (NO BIGGIE). HOPEFULLY, THE CRT WILL BE GOOD. THIS IS A HOT CHASSIS SET, IN FACT IT'S THE WORST OF THE HOT CHASSIS SETS (SWITCH TO GROUND). I WILL RECAP IT AND MODIFY THE WIRING SO THE SET IS SAFE TO TOUCH. THE ONE I HAD PREVIOUSLY HAD AN INSULATION PROBLEM. THE CABINET COULD SHOCK NO MATTER WHICH WAY IT WAS PLUGGED IN. I WILL GET TO THIS EVENTUALLY. THE CRT IS GOOD. IT CAME RIGHT UP IN A MATTER OF ABOUT A MINUTE. |

| THE NEXT THREE SHOTS ARE THE CHASSIS BEFORE RECAPPING. I SOFT STARTED THIS AND GOT NOTHING. I HAPPENED TO HAVE A FEW ELECTROLYTICS, SO I WAS ABLE TO REDO THE VOLTAGE DOUBLER. THERE WAS AN ELECTROLYTIC CAN THAT GOT HOT. I WILL REPLACE IT WITH NEW CAPS. I ALSO FIXED THE HOT CHASSIS PROBLEM. THIS IS A MUST WITH METAL CABINETS.
