| The Matthews were a well-to-do couple from Chicago. After their daughter Emily decided to attend Michigan State for college, they bought a house in Lansing, and split their time between Lansing and Chicago. Sadly, both of them passed away during the summer of 2001. (After the Draughtonville incident, and before the Port Penn fiasco.) Emily loved both of them dearly, and was deeply saddened by the double tragedy. |
