The idea of this story, all the origional characters, ideas, teams, and uniforms were designed by Evil Loony Productions (Randi Livingstone and Alison Forshner with uniform help from Ben Armour).

PRESENT STAFF

Eliza Beth Milner (EBM)
Co-writes mini series, editor of the Guardian Series.
Favorite Character: Serenity, "She's just so cool. She's innocent and the little sister that everyone is or has."

John Cooper (JC)
Writes the Guardian Files.
Favorite Character: "Renegade all the way. He's a tough guy and he's physically perfect. He's kinda like me."

Randi Livingstone (RL)
Writes the Guardian Series, editor of the Guardian Files and chief staff member.
Favorite Character: Ace, "She's a puzzle and the most like a bad guy out of the heros."

Bo Shortell (BS)
Co-edits the Guardian Files and the Guardian series, updates the Guardian Web Site.
Favorite Character: Tsunami, "He's the one who seems more of the leader than the second in command [of the Gorgons]. One of these days he's going to over turn Medusa and run the show. It'll be an interesting fight."

I (Bo Shortell) sat down (well sort of) with the writers of the Guardian Files (or Gfiles) and The Guardians John Cooper and Randi Livingstone with a couple of questions dealing wiht the direction of each of the series. Here what was said:

BS: What's the difference between the Gfiles and The Guardians?
RL: While The Guardians set up events and tell a story, the Gfiles breaks events of the past two Guardian issues down and lets the readers see how they have affected a key player within those issues.
JC: I think it also shows the readers what the characters are thinking. That they have emotions and that as characters they have doubts and room to grow.

BS: Randi, where do you see the Guardian series in say, three months?
RL: Hopefully still being produced. Um... I hope that each character will do a lot of soul searching and come to grips with who they are. By that time they will have come into contact with a number of foes and just might have some new members.

BS: Do you two talk to one another a lot? To plan what's going on?
JC: Hell no! She tells me what to do and I do it. Actually we do talk a lot on character development and we've even found a compromise between our two very different writing styles and made them as much as like as possible so that the readers can get to know the one style and know that its the Guardians, no questions asked.

BS: So, what do you think of the other members of the Evil Loony staff?
RL: Eliza Beth is great to work with. She knows her editing and she has talent as a writer as we all will see with the launch of the Origin's mini series.
JC: I don't know what to think of you though Bo. Kidding, you are great. Love what you're doing with the site and how you've cleaned up my work.

BS: With characters like Ace and Renegade who have or appear to have a lot of chemistry between them, are you planning to have relationships between members of the team?
RL: I think that someday that could be a posibility but for now I think we're just going to perfect their personalities.
JC: Also I think that people are getting into their heads who should be with who so we are putting some thoughts in their mind that there could be something between two characters, and so finally when a relationship does form it'll either surprise the hell out of everyone or make them say "It's about time."
