| Like an autumn leaf floating down a creek away from the source of all it knows strong currents swept me away dark clouds of an abyss to the unknown like a pill bull riding foliage my destination beyond all control Unstill waters playing God with me reaking havoc with my soul each ripple felt, and taking its toll Downwards to an unknown path I drifted, floating all alone toward an unknown future away from a past that I knew Feeling that I would drown under these ripples never reaching any stability never reaching the shore If I could just go back but downward the stream only flowed I could not go back upwards there were no more leaves no support to carry me further on this unfamiliar path I was on I had to move onward or be stuck in this abyss the most unpleasant of my experiences Now the reasons for the journey was over I had finally reached a place traveling through the sands of time through the scorching heat I had gained, reaching some level of stability and growing strong and wise Still in my heart what I had before I still wished I had again yet I couldn't go backwards onwards and growing taking another journey another unfamilar path realizing our hearts is "forever entertwined" my thoughts of poem from movie Forever Lulu and it represents her growth |
