Imagine a moon shinning bright then fading again being transported to another place like pollen that flows throughout the air blowing with the wind Imagine a day without sunshine imagine a season without spring imagine no april showers imagine being lost in a desert dying of thrist without you by my side to comfort in the end Just Imagine! Imagine not seeing your face feeling your arms around me Imagine not seeing the smile the gleam in your eyes greeting me so brightly and out shinning a summer sky Can you imagine the beauty of the flower as its fragrance fills the air as it opens up its petals with such majestic fanfare aided with drops of the early morning dew Just imagine a shooting star the beauty of it all as it shoots, cascading across the oceansides imagine my heart the love inside so deeply felt for you, the joy of it all Then imagine waking from my imaginations from my dreams to a dose of reality imagine my feelings of loss experiencing nothing but the feelings of dread never again seeing or hearing wondering then realizing my having to be without you Just Imagine! Thoughts of this poem comes from watching the movie Forever Lulu, featuring Patrick Swayze and Melanie Griffith. Such a bittersweet movie that left one with agonizing feelings. The old love, with a broken mind, wanting to know from her love of the past, why he never came to visit her in the hospital. He did of course, but she didn't know about it. He had seen the state she was in and felt afraid, believing she would always be as he'd seen her that day. Faced with the reality, and In the end seeing how she was so affected, being torn, all Ben could say was , " I'm sorry Lulu, I'm sorry. All Lulu could say, was, "Can you Imagine" as they both cried. |
