This outfit was designed to be worn to the 2003 Ivey Formal dance. Same as semi-formal, what we're going for is unique. After what I spent on the last one, we are also aiming for cheap. Fabric, muslin, pattern and all, cost $30 Canadian. I made the muslin and did the fitting on Thursday night. Friday at 9pm I started on the dress and Saturday at 6pm I was walking out the door to the party, so the dress took less than 24 hours to make.
The gown is from Vintage Vogue pattern #2267.
