Double Faced Tablet Weaving Patterns

The black and white thumbnails link to the Excel documents containing the pattern. The colour images link to pages showing the completed projects.

All patterns on this page have been put in Excel and were drawn whichever direction I deemed to be "up" for easier drawing. The long and short of it is that the direction in which the rectagles are long is the warp, the direction in which the rectangles are short is the weft. You should be able to figure it out from there. Have any questions? Feel free to contact me.

For all patterns you get the choice of either viewing it or saving it to disk. Either will work, but only the second option will allow you to see it again without coming back here.

One other thing - these are all original patterns by me. Feel free to use them but please give credit where credit is due.

A rearing unicorn running warp-wise up and down: pattern. This pattern is 33 cards wide.
A rearing unicorn running weft-wise up and down: pattern. This pattern is 53 cards wide.
A rearing unicorn coming out of the ocean running weft-wise up and down: pattern. This pattern is 49 cards wide. I designed this for a very special friend of mine. It is based on her arms. I have no idea when I will get time to try this out and I am thinking of changing it into a brocade so I can work her field division in there too. We'll see.

pattern. This pattern is 30 cards wide, however there are 4 border cards on each edge and I have drawn them in so the pattern can be more easily seen. The double faced part therefore is really only 22 cards wide. For a look at the finished band click here.
Patterns for three slightly different lizards: pattern. The first lizard is 30 cards wide, the second lizard is only 17 cards wide, the third lizard is 26 cards wide. This is an example of "the design process at work".
This is it, the final lizard: pattern. My "perfect" lizard is 26 cards wide. For a look at the finished band click here.
Patterns for three slightly different greek keys: pattern. The first pattern is 20 cards wide, the second pattern is 24 cards wide, the third pattern is 20 cards wide.
Pattern for a dragon: pattern. The pattern is 39 cards wide.
