What we are:

Everyman Genealogy is a premier genealogy service that celebrates the average people in our history. Too many people want to find a king or celebrity in their family trees; why is no one excited for their farming heritage? Too many researchers collect names and titles without fleshing out the story of an ancestor's life. We believe that the real story is made of the hard working everyday Joes that aren't popular or well-known, but still important. Seriously, without them, where would you be?

Our website provides several levels of genealogy help. Those looking for professional services are invited to check out our "Available Services" tab that introduces our genealogists and what we do. There is the Everyman Genealogy blog, which details the questions and research of the average American. We have a list of DIY links for those who wish to be more hands-on with their research and not rely on paid professionals. Because we're located in Northwest Indiana, and have a considerable supply of antiques shops, we also have a page dedicated to photos found and looking for descendants. Take a look and see if you recognize anyone!

There's also a detailed FAQ page that covers a series of common questions asked by users of genealogy Facebook pages and member message boards. We invite you to check this page before asking anyone in the genealogy field questions, as these are so frequently asked that they are near hourly in frequency.
