| History | Yosho was born on the world of New Samarkand in 3047 to Tsukan and Kirika Akaji. Tsukan was a Tai-sa in the 2nd Sword of Light's 1st Battalion. Tsukan died in heavy fighting on Luthien against the formidable Clan Smoke Jaguar when Yosho was 5. Tsukan's father was rich and made sure Yosho and his mother lived good lives as long as they would move to Benjamin and that Yosho would train to enter the 2nd Sword of Light as his father before him. When Yosho was 14 he was given the ultimatum by his grandfather and he choose to accept for the sake of his terminally ill mother. Yosho had almost secured a slot in the 3rd Battalion 4 years later when he got news that his mother had finally died of her illness. Yosho entered service with the 2nd Sword of Light at the rank of Heishi in the year 3065. During his very first live engagement on the FedCom world of Dobson his faltered due to his lack of concentration on the target and was ambushed by a lance of the 1st NAIS Cadet Cadre and captured. Yosho spent 2 years in a prison on Robinson until Victor Davion won the FedCom civil war and released all Combine POW's. Yosho was notified by his grandfather's aide that he was a disgrace and that he was not welcome in the Draconis Combine. Yosho was without a home or a family and after trying to get a mercenary position on Outreach he traveled to Terra in hopes that the Star League Department of Mercenary Management would be more open. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| Personality | Yosho is a skilled Mechwarrior and a dedicated and intelligent man but he lacks direction and ambition and is too easy distracted to be any use as an Officer. He does socialize adequately but he has never made a true friend in his life. His father died before he was really able to remember him, his mother was a true Japanese woman and never let her true emotions show and his grandfather treated him like a pet. Yosho is very apathetic, he has very little empathy or sympathy for anyone, including himself and because of the time in the POW camp and the disgrace he brought his family he has become the perfect mercenary. He has morals but he lacks any sense of honor because 'honor' has become so gray in his mind he can not distinguish between the liars and the honorable. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
