| History | Living with your father can be somewhat hard, especially when your mother divorced him because of her fear that he will someday not return home, that he would one day be killed in the battlemech that he loved so much. Navarre's father, Master Sergeant Diago al'Cullyn, gave his life day in and day out for the free world league. All of the time that his father was away on missions, Navarre kept company with some of his friends in similar situations as himself. Slipping into the Mech simulator when it was free and racking up many hours, other times he was attending combat lectures with people much older than he. The instructors gave him leniency considering that he was so willing to learn all that he could about combat, mech maintenance, weaponry and the operation of battlemechs. He was easily the youngest in any of the classes though his marks in the exams would rival the highest in any one class. It was one fateful day that changed the course of his life, that one day that his mother had been dreading... when Diago would not return from a mission. The Colonel on base took Navarre into his office (after Navarre barged into the operations room un-announced, demanding explanations) and told him that one of the smaller pirates, the Santanders world had captured the Master Sergeant and were going to put him on trial for travelling over their borders. The Colonel told Navarre that they were trying to do everything they could but the politicians had control of the situation. It was the next day that Diago had been found guilty by a biased jury and been sentenced to death, the Colonel told Navarre that the pirates were playing strong, attempting to prove that they were not to be messed with. When asked what he was going to do about it, the Colonel shrugged and shook his head.. Nothing. Navarre turned and ran, still young and ignorant of the ways of politics he proceeded to set in motion a daring plan to help his father, a plan to 'borrow' a mech using the contacts he had in the base and with two of his friends who said they owed Diago their lives already, he marched right over the enemy borders, shooting at anything on sight. The remainder of the mission details have been classified by the field marshal though the outcome of the mission was a success, but there were casualties to both sides. Master Sergeant al'Cullyn was honourably discharged due to a physical inability to further control a Mech and it is rumoured that his son left to join a mercenary unit at the young age of 24. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| Personality | Navarre can be a complex person, though he is clearly skilled in combat beyond his years and able to improvise in even the most challenging situations. Clearly he has a knack for always making it home safely at the end of the day, weather it be only with a few bruises, or in a hospital bed, the fact remains he is still alive. al'Cullyn has a high IQ and learnt many things while living with his father, Master Sergeant al'Cullyn of the free worlds league (now retired) most of it he learnt from the teachings of his father in any spare time after demonstrating a strong willingness to learn about becomming a mechwarrior, like most son's, Navarre chose to follow in his fathers footsteps. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
