| History | Few know McKlains full story.� Only those with access to his codex in Clan Jade Falcon and Clan Wolf know of his not-so-humble beginnings, but they have long sense lost track of this wayward Mechwarrior.� He rarely talks of his time with the Clans, only offering hints about his past. If you were to look up Damion McKlain in the DMM database, you would learn that he is a Trueborn of Clan Jade Falcon and that he was taken as isorla by Clan Wolf some time before the Battle of Tukkiad.� He fallowed Phelan Kell into the ARDC where he was adopted as an abtakha and then, for reasons not fully understood by ComStar, he left his new Clan and started a mercenary unit in the MRBC's sponsorship program under the Kell Hounds. His unit (Solo) rose to relative fame and fortune during the FedCom civil war.� It was during this time that he earned the title Gray Fox because of his graying hair, quick wit and his uncanny ability to get into and out of tight situations both on and off of the battlefield.� His unit was later decimated in a border dispute in the peripheries and forced to disband as a result of its losses.� McKlain, however, was not ready to give up the fight.� This time he turned to the DMM in hopes of joining another team and rebuilding his once respectable unit. Of curse, you would also learn that someone has recently cashed in the rather large bounty that was on his head and of the many crimes that he has been accused of (and the few that he was actually convicted of). His full name, as dictated by Clan custom, is Damion Wolf.� After leaving the Wolfs in Exile, he had his name legally changed to Damion McKlain and is quoted in saying, "if I cannot win a Bloodname, than I shall start one of my own."� Officially he was arrested by ComStar, but he managed to call in the last of his favors and is now living as a free man under the alias Bill (Grand Ma') Rich. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| Personality | If one were to sit down and talk with McKlain they might just mistake him as just another grizzled InnerSphere veteran, but after seeing him in action there can be no denying his Clan bloodline.� McKlain stands at 6'2", 210lbs, has short cut, salt & pepper hair and is very lean.� He carries himself with the proud arrogance of a Clan warrior and is incredibly strong and fast thanks to the fact that he has had full body elective myomer musculature augmentation. The increased bio-electric needs of the strengthened myomers, however, cause him severe headaches and he can occasionally be seen taking pain killers or shots of morphine to alleviate this pain. He would be a rather handsome character if it were not for the massive scar on the right side of his face.� His right eye is a bionic replacement that seems to almost glow a dull yellow.� He lost his left eye in an explosion shortly after joining the Crimson Legion and has yet to replace it with anything.� He can almost always be seen wearing a pair of dark tented glasses to cover up this loss.� Also, the glasses make him look even more like a badass. He is an accomplished Mechwarrior, swordsman, marksmen, martial artist and, because of his time spent as a bondsman, a competent technician. McKlain may, at times, seem unable to grasp the more subtle points of life in the InnerSphere.� He pays little attention to current events and has a strange infatuation with collateral damage.� He usually isn't the one the start stuff, but is more than willing to jump in and finish it at a moments notice and rarely backs down to anybody. McKlain has started to warm up to the unit but can still seem withdrawn and unapproachable at times and especially to newer members. In all, McKlain is smart, loyal and dedicated.
