3/25/03 It's crazy man. I haven't done anything with the site in forever. I really haven't done anything with the band in a while either. But lately I've written 3 or 4 song fragments and it's gotten me started again. So yeah, check the music page. I added a new song that i've been working on....but I could only get 60 seconds of it due to what we'll call "software issues." Y'all know this before Jordan so congratulations. We're gonna start updating again and write some new stuff. Got some new graphics from my bro (and I know it was him who made that "anonymous post" on our guestbook) so keep coming back. -Michael 12/21/03 It's been over 4 months since last updated....sorry about that people. Jordan and I plan to start updating again...(possibly move the site to get rid of annoying ads) and even start recording stuff. We'll keep ya posted. Biggest news of the time you've missed is...Michael S. and Daniel have left. We're in need of band members. - Michael 8/6/03 Whoa..it's been like a month since we've done anything to the site so I figured I'd put up some news and maybe a few songs. I've been so busy with work and the whole wisdom teeth thing. The summer's been going way too fast. We're hoping to start a worship band pretty soon and play for church so we'll see how that goes. Tell all your friends (for Jana)! - Michael 7/6/03 Today, is Jordan's birthday, so everybody drop him a line telling him how much you appreciate him and how much you're proud of him for having another birthday! And on today, I added our interactive chatroom. Once more people start visiting the site and going in the chat, you could possibly be able to talk with an Everex fan you don't even know! Once again, tell all your friends. - Michael 7/5/03 Today...I started thinking that we have no fans. I guess that's sort of logical since nobody's heard our songs yet, but it'd be nice to know that people visit our site every once in a while. This isn't really news..just kind of asking you to tell all of your friends about us and if you actually do care that we spend all of this time writing/recording songs and setting up this website, send us an email once in a while! -Michael 7/3/03 Michael here for the second time today. Just leaving a quick message to let you know that we actually have one audio download up now. (The link's on the main page and the music page.) We need a name for the one song that you can download so send us your suggestions. Thanks! 7/3/03 I added my newest song (My Brokeness, Your Reward) to the site. I'm not sure if that'll be the final name so if you have any suggestions please send them to me. You can find the link to email us on the home page or on the pages with the songs on them. Take your pick. Make sure you tell your friends, we want to develop a large group of people who want our CD before we actually spend the time recording it. (It'd be a waste to record for about 4 people or whatever.) -Michael 7/1/03 I changed the name of my new song from "I Need To" to Yesterday. I thought that sounded less....boring. I also wrote another song (guitar at least) and have started recording it. About that CD I was talking about, since we're underfunded, I came up with the idea of selling not so great copies of the cd created on the limited equipment we have for around $4 or $5 then you could "upgrade" so to speak to a better copy once we're able to afford better equipment. So the more people who buy CDs, the better the CDs will turn out in the end. Tell your friends! - Michael 6/29/03 Today I wrote a new song (Yesterday, see the music page) and changed the second verse to Lifeless. Hope you all enjoy. Please, please, please send me your feedback people. And tell your friends. Jordan and I are working on a cd that you'll be able to purchase so keep checking back for new info. - Michael 6/17/03 Once again...it's Michael. The big news of the day is that Jordan and I got together once again for a "half-band" practice. Once again, no Michael and Daniel. So we worked on the newest song I've written (or at least started). It really doesn't have a name yet, but its pretty good. I hope. We also worked on a couple of older songs but I think we've got them down pretty well. We're trying to think of ways to make our site more...user-friendly and enjoyable so if you have any ideas, please email us (everexmj@yahoo.com). Any ideas, no matter how dumb you may think they are, send them, we're open to suggestions. Sign our guestbook too. 6/15/03 Hey Everyone, Jordan here. I just want to share the "Top Headline" happening in our band. I'm proud to say that two days ago, Friday, something very special happened to me. My dad consented and me and my mom went to Del's and bought a new guitar:) It's a Epiphone SG Special, dual humbuckers, three way switch, and a pretty slick shade of red. I'm very proud and I hope that it will make our band much better, or atleast my part of the band. 6/9/03 Hey all, it's been over a month since I've done anything to this site...sorry. Just with the end of school and all...not much time. I took off one of the songs today (Untitled) cause I didn't like the feel of the song. I'm open for suggestions if you've got any though. Email us! We feel like we have no fans. If that's true, so be it, but we're really hoping we have at least two. So if you're one, email us. Jordan and I will work more on the site hopefully soon. 5/4/03 Today, Jordan and I (Michael), worked on "Can Anyone Hear Me?" and even came up with part of a lead guitar part for it. We also worked on a previously unknown song entitled "I'm Good, What About You?" It had sort of a punk-ish back-beat, so that would be the reason we never told you! We also finally figured out how to make the text box that you're reading from right now! It was really a big pain figuring it out considering I've been trying to for the whole time we've had this website. But, we did.
