EVBlazer's page
Update July 2005 My company moved me to Texas from New York City and since riding a bicycle is impossible in Texas between the heat and non existence of secondary roads I have purchased an EV to drive. It's a 86 S-15 pickup much like the blazer and can be seen here. 86 S15
The Sears Craftman Tractor my father gave me died most likely from the Texas heat and I'm converting it to Electric. It was probably fixable but I decided it was a sign and went for it. The progress on the whole situation can be seen here. Pictures
Update Novemember 2003 I have sold the Blazer. In fact I have a bid on the rabbit too and given away my 4 electracs to a good EV friend who I trust to give them a good home. Because of my situation I chose to ride my bicycle, non electric, to the station rather then drive an EV. The EV's became so dependable that it was just another car ride sitting through 20 stoplights and traffic to and from the station.
This web page is all  about my '83 S-10 Electric Chevy Blazer and it's new friend an '80 VW Rabbit who shall live again.
My thanks to my very  understanding wife who let me live through the experience and for all those on the EV Discussion list without which none of this would be possible :-)
Vehicle Status: Now in my new place the blazer and it's tired pack do 8 miles a day. With a long layover at the metro north train station outdoor lot.
But I have got a new EV perhaps with a little work. A VW Rabbit that I got on the cheap with some fire damage. If it works out I might be parting with the blazer because it's a little big for my needs.
