Ukraine will this year be participating in the Eurovision Song Contest for the first time.
The Ukrainen broadcaster had announced during last year's Eurovision week that popular singer and musician Oleandr will be participating for Ukraine in 2003.
The song that Oleandr will sing is called Hasta La VIsta.
It is now confirmed that Philip Vella, famous Maltese Composer will be making part of the Ukranian delegation in Riga. Philip Vella flew to Ukraine in February in order to help with the preperations for the Ukranian participation in Eurovision. He also helped in the English pronounciation of the lyrics. Philip was now invited by Olexandr as his personal friend to make part of he Ukraine's delegation.
Philip vElla a Eurovision Expert was the composer of last year's 7th Wonder which placed 2nd in Tallin as well as for the song Desire in Stockholm 2000.
